bro you didnt explain what settings needed to be used on logic. i have a m-audio project mix with a roland fantom x7 and for some odd reason my fantom keeps echoing and causing my mixer faders to jump and the sound will not stop playing for like 10 sec. can we get a better explanation?
How can I do this with my Roland XV-2020 conected with Nac thru USB. I downloaded the drivers and there is no sound although I can use it thru its phones input with my keystation conected via USB to Mac. I am using Apogee duet as my interface audio which dosent have midi in/out. So I need to conect my Roland XV-2020 via USB to Mac so I can use it in Logic Pro 9 but no sound... HELP! :)

They're like chicken nuggets.

I think you need to set up an Aggreagate Audio Device.
Go to Audio/MIDI Setup in your Utilities folder. Open the Audio Devices window.
Click the + sign, and select both your input and output for your Aggregate Audio Device. You can set channel levels and assign speakers as well.
In Logic, Go to Preferences -> Audio, then set your audio device to the above Aggregate Device.
You may even need to go to System Preferences -> Sound, and select your input and output devices there if needed.
