I dunno how people are saying this came from Batman -_- Dun get me wrong, I love Batman, I was addicted to the cartoon as a kid but I'm also aware of Lovecraft (kind of an ironic name when you think about it lol) and his writings. Not a huge fan of them but I'm not about to say he ripped off Batman or has ANYTHING to do with the franchise/story when Lovecraft was around how many decades before the first of Batman was even conceived?!

@Gjkl345 Yes, he can be in denial based on his hallucinagentic tendancies around dead bodies, but he saw incriminating evidence of these people willing to do anything to stop outsiders which means they wish to remain secluded. They are also willing to kill anyone in the way, while expositing about their "order" which tells us of their movements and habbits implying it is infact a cult while having many people being astranged completely to outsiders.

This game is based on Lovecraft's work, that was released on late 10's to late 30's.

The Batman's Arkham Asylum is a homage to Lovecraft's, and The Order of Dagon was introduced in November, 1919 in the tale "Dagon".

So no, this game is not out of ideas, it uses the source of these ideas.

You have 2 kind of health. Physical AND mental. When your mental health is low (due to seeing corpses, scary acts, monsters, unsafe positions like hights and stuff) you start getting paranoia and hallucinating. Eventually when your mental health is too low and you have a gun, you shoot yourself. I don't remember what happens if you don't have a gun. I guess he hangs himself. I don't remember. Long time since I played this
