  • WWOW indeed.

  • My Dad Has A Rolls Royce And He Doesnt Have That Engine On it

  • Ay Way!!!! but still AWESOME!!!

  • whats that red stuff coming out of the engine LOL

  • @launcestonpilot somed dude who asn't paying attention got sucked into the engine and was chopped to pieces:-P

  • @nederwiet1 Really and here i thought it was red paint

  • AIRBUS Fokstrot - Whiskey Whiskey Oscar Whiskey...

  • DAMN!

  • Awsome getting so close to such a wonderful airplane

  • That was cool how close you got to the plane.

It's deceptive the way it looks like you could reach up and touch the underside of the wing.

  • Now that was COOL!

  • I am still a fan of Boeing and the 747 -400 is still an amazing piece of technology...i think the A380 is a stupid idea...but clean and qiuet engines are the way to go...I cant wait for the 747-800 to come out, AMERICAN INNOVATION! AlSO...look at what the 747 has done...served airlines for countless years, carried space shuttles, become the PRESIDENTS PLANE!!!! and more, just because some expensive fat foreign plane gets released doesnt mean we forget the vetran airliners!!! GO BOEING!!!!

  • Ok but the A380 is just realesd it could change the presidents plane to an A380 and it could carry a Space Shuttle one day.

    GO AIRBUS!

  • Yeah I love Boeing too!!! (High Five) Especially the 777 family and 787. OMG i just want to get on those 787s i wonder when its first flight is. it's taking to long. =(

  • That's very close

  • (F-W)WOW :P

  • yikes i you would have jumped u could of grabbed the wing

  • u could if u can jump 50 feet in the air the camera angle makes it look closer than it is.

  • yeah maybe but 50 feet :/

  • NICE!

  • thats hudge

  • WOW...If the engines were on bit more they could have all died..wat a rush

  • The engines were not "on" at all, and it wasn't "marshalled", it has been towed.

Even if impressive, not dangerous at all.

  • it's not taxiing it's being towed by a tug, engines probably arn't even running properly

  • if the engines run there, something, or someone might get sucked into it!

  • wrong, the engines are not spooling, and are idle, thus not producing any thrust and thereforce won't be sucking in air...

  • I'm not sure if this was the Sat or Sun, but if it was the Sunday I must have been standing about 6ft from you.

  • Yes it was the Sunday - check my other vid for the departure, and all the dust!

  • then a 3 yr old kid runs and the turbine sucked the kid in!

  • wwow!

  • No way would I ever get that close to an Airbus A380's engine without being paid alot of money and given alot of valium. I dont think man should fly.

  • Rolls royce engines.. lovely..

  • someone trow a camera in the engine and will cause a 100 $ million damage!

  • I love this kind of comment! Lol!!!

  • i was there and i stayed for the take off all this dust went in my eyes!!!!

  • u can't be closer thant that, instead to be inside : )

  • This replaced conchord ;l

  • LOL. This airplane isn't taxiing, it's being pulled by a tug. The engines aren't even on.

  • if i was the pilot i would have went to full power for like 2 sec. just so every body could hear it...

  • And suck some people into the jet engine? ;) Bad idea.

  • lmao

  • what a fuckin MONSTER

  • just so they can never hear again

  • i was at the show that plane is fucking big,and id hate to pay the fuel bill to fill it up,

  • IMO it's a civilian BUFF!

  • But you could also see it from the point that since gas will continue to be high, the large volume planes will be the only ones to be cost effective. Our "hub and spoke" system will become just the "hub" system.

Great opportunity to see it up close, though. A true engineering marvel.

  • Good point!

I think if you maximize the space and seats, it'll have a fair "cost per seat."

However, airliners like Singapore or Emirates are going with more leg-room and personal space which is ruining what's really good about the A380s.

  • Lucky

  • u mean heathrow lol

    cool

  • The pilot is a show-off!!!!!

  • How the hell can you say the pilot is a showoff, when he hasn't even fucking done anything except pilot the plane like he should. Your a tool dude.

  • i think he means how he powered up the engine as he was heading on top of crowd which thats amazing

  • all you heard was jet noise do you honestly think it would have been the one near the crowd there are 4 you could see blades turning slowly on that engine nowhere near powering up

  • The plane isn't even being taxied by the pilot. its being towed, killers you sound like a tool yourself, going off on some guy like that

  • Thast´s a Massive Plane!! awesome

  • that planes isnt close its just so big it looks close lol (jk)

  • how dangerous is that?

  • well you don't want do be that close in front of an a380 with engines on full thrust

  • Man, those engines really are big. What a wing the A380 has.

  • Built right here in North Walees I'll have you know lol.

  • Thank you. :)

  • hahas.if the pilot accidentally on the engine , nt on they will get suck up, if suck up den it WILL EXPLODE.. ..

  • That's a silly thing to say... please search YouTube for 'Rolls-Royce Trent 900 Bird Ingestion Test' and 'A380 Blade Off Test' to see why an engine would not explode following the ingestion of a Foreign Object.

  • agreed the chances are the engine will shut down, yes it will be destroyed, but not in the sence it will explode.

Even at start up speed the blades sheering off will do very little damage at all, considering they can contain a blade sheering off at full throttle

  • it wasn't taxiing, it was being towed, i only watched this video to see it taxi close, not get towed close lame!

  • Hmmm...I wonder if the pilot accidentally switch the engine on full-throttle, all the people will get SUCKED-UP into the engine...Hahahaha~

  • I was thinkin' exactly the same, lol !...

  • Unbelievable! I still can't imagine how big that aircraft actually is! Thanx for uploading it!

  • Superb video!

  • Bought time those queer French make something worth while...

  • WOW @ close for my comfort!

  • thats a very beautiful plane ... that wing span is longer then YOUR MAMMA

  • check out part of the rego...WOW.....wow.

  • ijustwanttogeton: "dont you mean get blown away from the thurst? that happend with a 747, i really wished it was a 777 that blew it away( 2 747 engines= 1 ge90-115b from a 777300er)"

  • "Can you not swear on my video?" :D Love it.

  • lol can you stay outta my video please?

well you gotta tell me when your making a video

    haha....good vid anyway =]

  • My goodness, what a massive wings and engines!

  • those big jet engines are Trent 900s that were specialy developed foe the A380

  • I love that jet sound

  • Nice shooting. I felt like I was right under that massive wing. Excellent!

  • KharnakRex you are spot on... a/c was being towed by a tug at this point. If the Trents were running up I wouldn't have been filming!

  • let me guess, you saw people getting sucked in an enjine on the verry first Eppisode of Lost, right?

  • lucky the engines didnt suck anyone in. seen that happen on a video

  • wow...look at the size of those engines!

  • kool
