The only reasons why I hated it was because I found the Elise character annoying. Also they ruined Shadow th hedgehog for me. Shadow..who USED to be just as fast as Sonic was made into a Government agent character like Rouge, you have to drive vehicles with him, and the kick in the nuts for me...was the fact that they removed his spin dash and made him slower than Sonic.

Lol, I love Sonic, but even I don't pathetically grasp the "storyline" straw to irrationally defend this trashheap. The fundamental difference between Mario and Sonic is that the gameplay of Mario is wound like a Swiss watch. It's textbook platforming perfection. Sonic DOES NOT have that anymore.

Still, even I want to see Generations succeed. But seriously, this particular Sonic game warrants no defense for it. Let it go guys, it WAS and IS abysmal. Sonic won't hate you for hating it.

@SegaNightmare But the storyline was okay. It's the Glitches, bugs and physics that just ruined the game. It had a chance, but they rushed it and just plain old messed it up. Though games like Super Mario Galaxy had the same storyline, but it was a completely new way to play Mario.
