One of the best song Emitt did and I believe it was around 1983. I also read he was experimenting with the saxophone at the time. A true genius held to a contract that ABC /Dunhill should have re-drawn had they any heart, of which it's evident they didn't and Emitt got screwed. I called him personally and told him to do this song on his new album which should be released in 2011.
I too asked him to include this song on the album which we HOPE will be released sometime within the next year. He replied:"I have a NEW version that I have written, with totally different lyrics!"
I do hope it gets included. Emitt told me it was recorded in 1980, after a record executive who loved his earlier work had managed to convince his boss to sign Emitt to a recording deal with the label. Shortly after this was recorded, that executive was FIRED, & plans to sign Emitt dropped
I'm a HUGE Emitt fan. A true musical genius. That said, I only discovered this song a week ago and it is now possibly my favorite. I agree, it should have been released. This has top ten written all over it. FYI - think this is 1980, and I'm 99.9% sure Emitt is NOT playing sax on this (but probably everything else).
Out of all the songs Emitt has done I think I like this one that was done sometime around 1983. He is also playing the Saxophone, futher domonstrating his ability to learn an instrument almost sponstaeously. Truely another Paul McCartney but Dunhill ruined his life because of their inability to redraw a contract with Emitt.
Great artist all his songs are so melodic

This has got to be the first "smooth jazz" tune recorded. Great tune! It needs to be RE-RELEASED.
Timeless..........

I think this song should have been promoted, I would have bought it if I had heard it.
