@complicatedlifelol Im not sure what you mean by purpose? I think you mean the explanation, which I explaned at the end of the video. "Once the candle goes out the air cools quickly as the air cools it doesnt take up as much space and the outside air pressure pushes on the water pushing it in and up the jar"

@nyxia08 Sorry I wish I could give you a copy but the econemy sucks and I cant give the show away for free, how-ever check the description (which I just updated cuz I thoguht I alredy did that) and it will give you written out description of what you need, how to do the experiment and a full written explanation of why this occures. @hh65a According to Einstein's General Relativity gravity does push because dark matter surround everything and pushes on everything. So in Einsteins case yeah it pushes us back down to earth. How-ever that being said because gravitational force is not truly understood, there are arugments for both sides. Personally I disagree with the above Gravitational Hypothesys, because opposing eletrons pull on each other the more eletrons that something has the more it pulls on things with less electrons.

As for an assistant... hmmmm... I dont think changing the science files is a good idea. TV shows do that all the time & they go south, not just the winter, they stay south.  =^D

You dont have to use a pickle jar, you can use any glass container, find out what happens when you use different types of glass containers. Make sure its a glass container cause plastic can burn & melt & you dont want to start any kitchen fires! :)
