Just the coolest guy ever! Im not condoning smoking, but the way he just walks out with his tux, brillcreamed hair, handkerchief and cigarette. This guy is the definition of SUAVE. "smooth as a bucket of shit" as the Irish would say. He could act, do stand up & sing better than any1 I know. There maybe funnier people. There may be better singers but no one could do all of those things better than this guy! No one has come close since-real shame, but I love this man all the more for that reason

Saw Dean and Jerry live on stage, and fell for Dino immediately. I knew my childhood was over when I thought Jerry was just OK, but Dean blew me away. I couldn[t take my eyes off him and after that I bought every record he had recorded up til then; and wore them out and bought more. Drove my parents crazy, worse than Elvis or later on the Beatles. And all these years later, still buying those recordings!!!!!
Dean was and still is THE BEST! I sure miss seeing him on TV every week! I listen to him in the car all the time. I still collect his movies and music. Like every Dino fan, its a must to buy whatever comes out and whatever can be found. Miss playing the LP's on the old turntable! Love watching Dean's shows on DVD's! NBC Universal needs to release a collection! NOW while we are still alive to enjoy them! HINT Fricking HINT
Yes, and he knew these songs like the back of his hand, and I guess practiced with tapes on the golf course, in his car, and maybe even in the shower--- LOL; so who needs a rehearsal?!? Besides all that according to Jerry Lewis, Dean had a mind like a steel trap and memorized things with little or no effort hearing or seeing once and never forgot them. It was only when he was very ill, that his memory began to slip. (I should be that lucky, I can't remember what happened 2 minutes ago :-)
So that was it!I didn't know Dino had what I call a photographic mind which made total recall a breeze for the few so blessed.Anyway he I think had the best ever voice on live tv or a gig in Vegas...to me it sounded better than many of his recordings.
In the flesh is always better--- LOL For me, a female; in person it always seemed he was singing to Just me IT was the skill he had, and he played to the mood of the audience. The more laughter and applause, the better he got. I only saw him once where he could not pull it off, right after his son died. Poor man, tried, but his broken heart showed. But I still went to seem him cause he was such a legend, not another in the world like him.
No matter how sad the song was he was singing he always looked like life was a wonderful joke and he got it. He was my hero. I will always regret never seeing him in person.
This is one of his best and yes you are right NO ONE can ever replace him. Georgeous, Talented. I have loved this man since i was 12 and now i am 50 plus
