  • By the way how were those balls packaged when you received them? I've thought about getting some labradorite ones, but am still not sure thanks to my last issues. Also found out at least the way they worded the reply to my email, it sounded like they go strait from the manufacturer in china shipped to whoever(makes an order). Though that makes me wonder how they keep track of stock, unless I misunderstood.

  • @t3hsniper It was a while ago now that I made my order. I made a reasonable sized order so their were quite a few things in the box. I can't remember if they were bubble wrapt or wrapt in tissue paper. I know they were undamaged when they arrived.

  • I was wondering if you know a good site to buy them from, I've seen baodingballs com but wasn't sure if there were better sites out there. I only found out about baoding balls because my aunt came back from china a while back and gave them to me saying they were stress balls. Only recently did I find out what to do with them. The reason I'm looking for new ones is I'm using 30mm ones right now and according to that website, based on my palm width, I should use about 40mm balls.

  • @t3hsniper That is probable the best site I have found for Baoding balls. These Calcite balls are from them. handhealth com is quite good as well.

  • @spheres100 I'm saddened by my experience with them. Bought some yin yang balls from them. All they did is put the little display box in a small box for mailing, then put a scrunched up piece of paper in between the balls. They ended up with little chipped spots that buffed out with use, but also had scratching on both balls(don't think that was from shipping). Also they just don't have that great of a finish on them.

  • @t3hsniper I'm sorry to hear of your experience with them did you contact them and let them know? They have been good with email correspondence for me in the past. I have never bought the enamal balls from them, and I don't personally recommend buying enamal balls, simply because they do chip easily (it is no exuse for how they packaged them though). It is disapointing getting dud balls! That is the one really bad thing about buying online is that you can't see and touch what you are buying! I

  • @spheres100 I just emailed them, hope they try to make things right. I must say though, they are surprisingly durable, since I have bounced them off of hard surfaces from dropping them. I have only done that at a sitting height, and never have done any of it above a hard floor surface, but I did manage to chip the ones I have from china once.
