U are seeing only what u want to, than what is right in front of u. Christians have done it. Now its the turn of Islam. In my mind all these theories are just as Evil as the next
U must remember that if what U think is true why then did we think the earth was flat? Why did we think all living things needed sunlight to survive? Why wasn't any of this cleared at DAY 1 of creation? Religion never has answers, when science has had it's proof of evolution over creationism for years

@leemondo1 No,nothing is infront of me.If it was,you could have shown me.Next, "we" did not think the earth was flat.Many ancient cultures knew the earth was a sphere and the Greeks even tried to measure its curvature.Copernicus was a Christian monk and along with Traho Brahe laboured to gather data to calculate the ellipticity of the orbits.Everybody did not think all living things needed light to survive and even if "we" did,what's your point?contd..

@leemondo1 Does Zephaniah say, kill the unbelievers whereever you find them? If there is a God, then He is the Lord of His creation and He will punish sin.
And in Deuteronomy, that is law for Israelites and that is the covenant they agreed to. They have seen the supernatural presence of God and that comes with a judgment as this if they willfully disobeyed God. Does it say strike terror and conquer the unbelievers whereever you find them? Did Christians ever use this to kill people?

You must kill ANYONE who tries to tell you that their GOD is honest and true. To prove how much you love your GOD.
Read it. It's certainly interesting. As is the condoning of slavery and domestic and child abuse.
And the food part too, that's a good read. It'd make a good movie.

There's a whole chapter on condoning slavery and selling your daughter, domestic abuse etc..
I suggest you read it all first, then come back with a better argument.

God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6).

And if indeed there is a God, He reserves the right to punish sin. He punished that Amorites that way and the chapter is descriptive. Not presciptive. Does it say you Christians, kill the unbelievers whereever you find them?

@NameforYouT One could argue that the emotions you have quotes are a result of the material world, and hence they would not occur be it for said material world.
You can have morality without god, easily. Look at some of the tribes that live in the deepest darkest recesses of the Amazon, or deep in the outback. They do not have your god, and yet they have not resorted to raping, murdering and pillaging.

That is more believable that you saying,"one could argue that emotions are a result of material world". I don't see how those could be a result of material world and I am not sure how you are sure about what you perceive as reality is real. After all, you evolved out of pure chance and your system might be full of flaws.

And yes, all living things have flaws, otherwise there would be no natural selection, where these flaws are removed from the gene pool. You may also be surprised to hear that the inception of life may not have been down to chance.

When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife!

@leemondo1 You are dishonest. The men of Jabesh Gilead were bound by an oath. And God did not tell them to grab the girls to to marry. And there is no mention of rape anywhere. The fathers and brother of the girls came and asked them why they did that and they told them and they accepted. Marriage has always been understood differently. Marriage is not shopping in the market to find the right product and be married. The girls married the guys there. They were not raped and married.

In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 murdered

One theory states that some of the higher orders of dimensions very briefly touched, which cause a massive out pouring of energy whihc led to the creation of our universe. This can be described pretty well using string theory. Another states that there was a Universe before ours, and that it collapsed in on itself, creating a singularity. From this singularity, the expansion of a new universe began.

There are many parts of the body which were thought to useless and now are found useful.Appendix is found to be a "safe house" for bacteria useful for digestion. And like wise tonsils and other "useless" body parts. And you ignore everything else. @leemondo1 Medicine just studies human body. Medicine studies what is observed. Medicine or science does not look into past and tell you what happened or how did the lung come into existence. And they are still studying the human body. Many new discoveries are being made about what they are able to observe and study. Studying medicine does not mean knowing how to create or "evolve" a body.

You can study the eyes of species whose progenitors were not dissimilar for what they are now and see how their sensory organs function. By comparing the differences, you can see how eyes have evolved over incredible time spans.

Again example, a tribe in the amazon.outback that has not heard of your god before. they still multiply, work, gather food etc. You can believe what you want about evolution, but if you truly do not believe that that theory applies to all living creatures in some form or another then you are very short sighted.

Your claim that these tribes are always intoxicated is complete bull. For some ceremonies they do ingest mind altering chemicals, but how is that any different from a Christian ingesting wine that is supposed to be the blodo of christ? (cannibalism, really moralistic there too).
