  • Where do I begin, LOL Mitch , another outstanding vid!

  • WOW, I'm absolutely in love with this rig's engine sound, quite possibly the best on a FL you've filmed and I can't imagine better-sounding one!! Thanks a ton for going out and getting so much of this truck, the video truly is a masterpiece with such a machine starring in it! Had they been refueling it at 7:32? I noticed the JR Richards name on that tanker truck haha. Or maybe it was sewage?? That was an epic final shot btw, with the backup beeper and engine echoing, I'll always love that!

  • @Trashman242 After watching the video again, the engine really does sound bloody awesome... has a combination of grunt, roar and scream. There are a few other front loaders on the way which sound pretty mean; guess they all do in a sense, because they are FLs after all :D That tanker in the last clip would've been the grease trap truck, coincidently they were there at the same time. Thanks for labelling this as a masterpiece, a very strong word haha

  • @MitchellM15 Oh grease truck? Hm how does it work there? Looked like a tanker with hoses and stuff, over here if I'm thinking of the same thing it's more of a dump truck that empties a container into the back, as if the stuff weren't liquid haha. Do the grease trucks there just suck the grease out of a reservoir or something? Interesting..

haha definitely a masterpiece, due to that crazy awesome engine haha, you're totally welcome :)

  • @Trashman242 Yeh if I understand it correctly, the grease is drained to some reservoir which is where the hose is directly connected to... don't think there would be a more efficient system?

  • @MitchellM15 Yeah the method there seems to make more sense, being that grease is more of a liquid than a solid. I'm not entirely sure why we have the trucks we do here, our method almost would make more sense with regular trash, being emptied from a regular, rectangular shaped container and into a box-ish truck, not a tanker truck.

  • scanias sound bettr thn volvos (:

  • This video was made last year? That is a weird screaming sound that truck makes but I noticed it sounds more weird when its inside those big buildings.very nice video.I guess your very busy working everyday now?

  • @arkansastrash320 I threw it together early this year - did it say somewhere it was made this year?! There is a bit of a different sound to this Scania compared to others and your typical roaring truck. Yep mate very busy these days, always long days at the moment.

  • @MitchellM15 Mitch I think it said it was from last summers's holiday not sure.but it sure don't look like you just threw it together LOL it nice job.Well enjoy the long hours ha ha atleast your doing what you love that makes the difference....Your last summer was in the frist part of 2010??? ours is allmost over the 23rd of september will be fall starting thanks paul....

  • best looking fl's around i reckon

  • That pump has a great whine to it, awsome vid.

  • I always wondering how you follow the truck, you run chase them or you sit with driver? Nice video!

  • @Danny19921125 Sometimes I chase them by running, sometimes I keep up by bike and other times I cruise around in the cab... a bit of everything.

  • Awesome job MITCH! I liked the two truck shot in the beginning! Also, the plastic dumpsters are cool too. Nice to see ya uploading again!

  • @r6man2 Cheers mate, I don't catch two trucks together like that very often. Also those plastic dumpsters are hell rare in Australia with what I've seen; very few exist. Thanks!

  • ahhh, Mitch ive been dieing to see this truck in ages. Ive seen this truck three times when i was up there but to late for footage. Yeh these trucks are bloody huge. I cant wait to go back, your making me miss it up there already

  • @Sean12325 Yeh I already want to go back there for another holiday, one of the best places! =]

  • great vid bro :D i liked the sound as it roared up the ramp, awesome stuff :) a 2006 FL?

  • @trashy0240 Yeh that's when it sounded best in my opinion... the high-pitched scream of these Scanias seems sort of unusual for a truck, but the power's still there! Yep I guess it was a 2006 - you can tell by the truck number eh? :D

  • Damn that first can doesn't look like it has much life left in it! Scraping the ceiling in the last bit too, nice!

  • @KFCOrBust I thought he would've had to drive out of the dock to empty the two containers in there, but there was just enough room in the right spot!

  • gd vid that truck is a beast truck BINBOY112

  • Sweet video

  • nice video!

  • thats probably the best sounding australian garbage truck ive ever heard! Awesome job Mitch!

  • nicew finds mate the can at 5:00 u might as well have a cart there is all they got are baby 2 yds and 4s nothing bigger

  • @mcr8767388 That job was done the day before as an extra pick-up, this was just a check up visit so there wasn't shit to collect. Cheers.

  • nice! do you have any mersadies benz around there?

  • @TheOTTO2732 Mmmm they aren't extremely common in my area, especially as garbage trucks.

  • @MitchellM15 yeah i have seen them as fire engines!
