I have the same car, same color, mine is a 98. Have you ever had problems with the EGR valve. It pops up as code P0400. Funny to see the same issues with yours tha tI have, like the stains on the floor mats, the chewed up rubber coating on the inside on the drivers door from the rain, the rusty rear wiper arm, the faded steering wheel... Does your shifter go from Drive to Neutral without depressing the side button? And do you also get looks and silly questions EVERYWHERE you go in your car?
I've always liked Subaru Legacys, and to see a right-hand drive model is something different. How about a drive? The engine sounds good. The speedometer doesn't seem to work, although the tach works just fine. The a/c seems to work. The car seems to drive quite well.
