@finngamer yea the the only reason i say 200 is because the psp go didnt sell very well but i think that is partly from the price its not 250 maybe 200 but definetly not 250
but the 3ds is a revoloutionary new device that will proabably change gaming and NO glasses thats the coolest part
Don't forget that the XL is 180 dollars or more and that's just for larger screens, nowhere near the technology the 3ds has. I think 250 will be the price
I'm still just really unhappy about the online component of the nintendo Wii. you look at the social aspect of sony and microsoft, and the wii feels barren and isolating.
I mean, how can games like new super mario bros. wii and mario party 8 not have online play (though they would most likely still feel lifeless online)?
I'm going to be picking up monster hunter tri, and I'm hoping that the online experience will be more lively.
I personally believe Nintendo had the best conference, although Sony and Microsoft's conferences weren't all that bad. I thought the new 3DS looked very cool, and I will certainly be buying that. Great videos as always.
I get what you mean by rare..cut down from their prime..they used to make good games like DKC, Banjo, and Golden Eye..look what they are doing now, making avatars and Kinect sports for microsoft...Donkey Kong Country Returns is better off with Retro since most of the original people from Rare left and now they suck at making games
Nintendo was easily the best this year! A new zelda, awesome looking metroid (which i hope is as hard as ninja gaiden), kirby, donkey kong, epic mickey, where as msoft presented kinect for an hour, i mean CMON, its okay to present it a little but an hour?! They had kids playing with kitties and ppl blame nintendo for being casual? We already knew what sony had, and it was as utterly boring as i thought it would be. I havent been happy with nintendo since 2006, but hell this year I am. Amen
Which DS do you currently use? Or do you own all of them and just play a specific one? Would you just recommend waiting until the 3DS comes out to upgrade? (Currently, I own the DS Lite)
@relewis2011 I use a DSi. I guess at this point I wouldn't recommend on getting another system before the 3DS, but if you must, get a DSi XL. The big screens are pretty nifty, and propably the only thing the 3DS doesn't have.
I think Nintendo and Microsoft were about equal, they both presented quite a bit of good material. Sony on the other hand, could have had more but just couldn't stack up to the Nintendo or Microsoft, especially seeing that Microsoft released a new console that week. But frankly the "New" Xbox doesn't look any good to me personally at all, just another sad attempt to make money off of mothers trying to satisfy there spoiled kids. Good videos.

Please don't lie to me, this video is COMPLETELY your inner fanboy talking. All they talked about was crappy casual games and games coming out that we already knew about. Re-doing old games is not that exciting. Oh boy, we get 1 new Zelda game every 4 years! 3DS, yawn! I knew you were a hardcore Nintendo fan, but I also thought you cared about the WHOLE gaming industry. Sony & Microsoft keep giving me reasons to continue to support them, Nintendo has yet to give me a reason to even invest.
@LiLBoYButters You don't have to take my word for it. Everyone thinks Nintendo destroyed this years E3, what's up for debate is that who was worse, Sony or Microsoft.
It's so funny when people always accuse Nintendo of making the same games over and over again. Last proper DK game? 11 years ago. Last Kid Icarus game? 19 years ago. Nintendogs sells 20 million and Nintendo makes a sequel 6 years later? It's crazy how Nintendo HOLDS BACK with the sequels.
@finngamer If your argument quantity, yes, Nintendo is the clear winner, but that does not translate into quality. Wii and DS games are notorious for getting low review scores (and justifiably so) because most of them are just gimmick games. And bringing back old retro games is always great, but how about a new IP that is actually GOOD
@LiLBoYButters You act as if the Wii and DS were the first systems to have "bad games". If you look st the PS2's library, there are hundreds of crappy games. In fact, there probably isn't a single gaming console that has more good than bad.

Some people have an irrational hatred of Nintendo - it seems you're just one of them. If you've missed out on Nintendo this gen you've missed a WHOLE lot of good gaming.
@Azure701 yes, there are great games, but I don't feel like digging through a pile of crap to get to them. It's also amazing how a lot of the 3rd party game companies are not wanting to make any more games for Nintendo since they are tired of having the make "dumb downed" versions. But of all fanboys, Nintendo's are easily the worst; they'll buy anything endorsed by the giant N.
@LiLBoYButters ehh kenect is going to be a fail, other than that microsoft didnt show anything worth anything, sony has killzone which is going to be sick, and the ps3 motion controls are going to kill microsoft, but nintendo threw down this year and kicked ass, theres nothing else to say about it, i dont own a wii so im definantly not a fanboy
@mmhmmlala yes, kinect will suck, but I hate motion control and only Sony made me actually want to buy their product. Sony & Microsoft are evolving with the industry and are constantly adding more content, both online and off (well, the Wii mind as well just stay offline cuz its online service is a joke). Nintendo has cornered the market on casual gaming, which is fine, but that's all they seem content with. These games can be fun, but too much will water down industry as a whole.
miyamoto said that the reason was nothing to do with the actual game, or wii motion plus, but technical difficultys. somthing about not using a sensorbar?

I completely agree, Nintendo really hit the ball out of the park with their conference. So many great games, many of which they didn't even mention in the event! Very excited.

I too would disagree with you about selling wiis with those games. I dont own wii, but watching that press conference was just so amazing nostalgia trip.
Old memories of me playing Donkey kong country on snes for the first time and Kirby and Metroid on nes. When the show was over i was like "Congratulations Nintendo you sold one wii for me".
can someone please explain to this dumbass kid that sonic 4 is not an xbox exclusive. hes trolling videos INSISTING that it is. his stupidity was funny at first but now its just fucking pathetic
I enjoyed all conferences but for me Sony's was the most energetic and fun to watch.
It had a bit of funny moments like when Kevin Butler showed up, it was hilarious. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that they didn't announce resistance 3 which I'm really dying to hear about at this point but all in all it was still great. Twisted metal with Jaffe showing up really caught me off guard.
@HonestGamer1 yeah sony's was real energetic had been waiting on gran turismo 5 information if i had to pick id say i loved both Sony's and Nintendo's
I wasn't super excited about the Nintendo conference. But it still might be the best of the MS/Sony/Nintendo conferences. Like you said it was very tainted by the Zelda preview. The only 2 games that made me jump up and down where the Kirby and Donkey Kong games.
It's good that I don't have much spare money right now as the Nintendo conference made me want to buy a Wii and I would have walked straight to my local store. New DKC, the Kirby game, Zelda (even though it looked terrible) and the already released Zelda and Galaxies.... But i'm happy with my Reach and Fable 3 : ) Btw has anyone noticed how Fable 3 looks like F2? The graphics, some icons and the over all feel are really similar.
Nintendo conference blew up my mind!!! Because of it, I've went out and bought a Wii. And I can hardly wait for 3DS.
I'm a little bit tired of this new 3D thing... Now, every time I go to the cinema almost every film is in 3D and some don't have a normal 2D version available to watch. And as this wasn't enough, the gaming industry decided to start using 3D. Which cost us, the consumer, money on buying a new TV. Nintendo manage to do all this without the glasses and the new TV. Simply GENIUS!
Anyway, I didn't expect much from the 3DS but it seems to be a must-have for me now. Great line-up with games like Paper Mario, Professor Layton, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, Kingdom Hearts, OoT remake... I'm especially looking forward to Paper Mario, I simply loved the first one (TTYD I haven't played, sadly). DS is one of my favorite consoles, and seems to be a true successor to it.
Nintendo had an amazing conference. I'm really looking forward to Epic Mickey, Skyward Sword, Kirby Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country, and Goldeneye.
Not to mention all of the amazing 3DS games. Believe it or not, the 3DS is going to be the first Nintendo handheld that I've ever purchased (and I grew up with NES and SNES).
Totally agree, Nintendo was BY FAR the best this year. By the way, the new Zelda's controls look really good if you check out videos where people are playing it on the show floor. It was very bad in the press conference, but luckily it seems that was just because of the "pollution".
It was a great show and it was surprising that Zelda wasn't even the greatest part. The new Donkey Kong looks fantastic and Kirby was pretty interesting as well (great artstyle). Nintendo truly delivered this year.
The 3DS went from being the Virtual Boy 2 to a day 1 purchase for me. A friend of mine got to see it in person and said it was mind blowing how well it works. Also really glad i bought a Wii since most of the games show i now want with the biggest being Kirby's Epic Yarn.
the entire Zelda thing i wanted them to fix the calibration. it drove me crazy, i also thought the Nintendo press conference was the best by far, i really just want to experience the 3d without glasses
@PirateGamARRR Even though the graphics are 3D, i'd still call them 2D if their mechanics are 2D.
Sure, there are a lot of casual 2D platformers, but (these days) even more casual 3D platformers. A tightly designed 2D game is almost by default more hardcore than 3D, and demands more precision.
Nintendo was so awesome this year! so many great games! and i can't wait for the 3DS!!, Sony and Microsoft was very bad this year... some good games of course but it was very disappointing...
1:44 I was exactly like this too watching my favorite Developer playing so bad ;)
But it was a technical problem...still embarrassing.
Talking about the show, I dislike Reggie..he doesn't carry the "Nintendo feeling" right...he looks more like a Sony or Microsoft guy. Seeing DK made me really excited and even more when I saw "this holidays"...till my Girl told me that it means Christmas, I was believing they meant summer holidays :-/
Nintendo definetly took the pot this year. It bothered me little that Hideki didint get to make his star fox for wii but maybe next year. Also lack of Pikmin 3 was kinda suprise because Miyamoto has been making it.
Nintendo definetly took the pot this year. It bothered me little that Hideki didint get to make his star fox for wii but maybe next year. Also lack of Pikmin 3 was kinda suprise because Miyamoto has been making it.
All I can say is WOW just wow for Nintendo. Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time in 3D!? Not to mention the long overdue return of Pit. They really blew the show out of the water this year. The more I hear about it the more excited I become.;)
Nintendo was the true winner this e3 no doubt i love how nintendo turned around this year. PS3 next because they had a lot of announcements that i loved like portal 2, killzone 3, time crisis for the move, infamous 2, and twisted metal. Also their exclusive content was crazy lol. Sony copied nintendo true but i would rather have a good copy then a bad new idea lol. Natal had nothing on it at all that interested me and the only game i was interested in was metal gear solid dragon rising.great vid

Kid Icarus: One of my fave Nintendo chars so I look forward to this game...
Skyward Sword: Wont judge on what they showed .. Could be better tho'.
3DS: Don't know about the design to be honest, but I love the idea of 3D.
Mickey Mouse: I laughed at start, but looks promising.
But .. No Super Smash Bros! :(

@Winkuru Yes, Pikmin 3 was missed, but I guess they just didn't want to talk about it yet again, it's been a long time coming.

@gojordon1 I'm guessing it will come, but it had such a bad rep last year, that they decided to skip it this year.
