@BloodHound91100 It's a very impractical idea because Ash is always going to be 10 years old. If they hired a young boy he would end up hitting puberty and getting too old for the tole, so they'd have to constantly recast. Plus, it's a lot tougher finding a child that can work the hours needed for a show with no end in sight than it is for an adult.

They need to make an episode when Ash battles the world's greatest Pokemon master (which ISN'T him). The trainer will just smile, and it won't even be animation...just paint-style artwork of Ash's Unova Pokemon getting whooped by a slew of strong Kanto ones. Obviously the show isn't as popular as it was in the 90's because Pokemon was in its fad stage back then.

@Rizardon3293 You don't seem to get it. She has ruined one of my favorite child icons, not just for me but alot of other loyal fans to the original 8 seasons. Her voice for Ash makes him sound way older than a kid really needs to be. Granted, in real life, Ash would be 14-15 years old but no teen's voice is ever that deep, unless he has matured early. If that was the case, he'd be shaving facial gair by then. But the point is, she's not a credible voice actress to the show and puts Ash to shame.
