A movie can be unappealing, drab, and boring to watch, but with the music of Mr. Hans Zimmer, he brings a whole new "life" to the movie, and with this even the most bizarre movies can become truly amazing! Pirates of the Caribbean would not be nearly HALF as good as it is if it weren't for Hans Zimmer's smashingly-good music! Thanks Mr. Hans Zimmer for another amazing masterpiece :)

I love how with each new movie, he includes a bit of the music tracks from the previous ones. By the 4th movie it has a great compilation of the other 3 included!

Yeah, he does such a great job at taking other people's music, and working it into his own. Like the Pirates of the Caribbean music, Danny Elfman's theme for the Simpsons, and music for the Dark Knight. A complete genius at copying other people's music....

Gabriella and Rodrigo were definitely the highlights of this soundtrack, as well as Eric Whitacre's collaboration with Hans on the Mermaids theme. Not a big fan of the remixes though... hope they release an extended score-only soundtrack =)

Pirates 3 is still the most superior soundtrack. Pirates 2 had Kraken and Davy Jones. Sadly, Pirates 4 is my least favorite soundtrack :( Nothing will ever top the love / Calypso themes from POTC 3
