if you've got room for it then you should definately sort it out, that's the hardest part, finding space for the mini, once you've got that, sure money's next but you can cut costs by asking around, being resourcefull, crap like that. Do it! then invite all of us over to shred it!
dunno what georges mini mini is but it's barely skateable so don't worry about it. The outdoor one is 12ft wide, something like 4ft high and probably about 20/25ft from deck to deck. You building one?
you think that because you probably suck at skating..mini ramps are the funnest thing to skate when u get ood at it..and from the sound of you, i bet you suck at it.
win a mini!? i dunno, maybe! you'd be lucky to find a mini give-away comp. The hardest part of sorting a mini is finding the space to put it somewhere, once you've got that sorted it's all down hill, you can pay for it bit by bit till you've got all the timber you'll need, your cousin can help with his builder tools and all that can't he? he can probably point you in the right direction to find some cheap timber as well, holla at him, then holla back if you need more info, herbal's here to help
I SO FRIGGIN BADLY WANT A MINI!!!!! i just aint got no money to pay 4 it, but ma cuzin is a builder... maby he can help!!! GEEZ IS THERE ANYWAY TO WIN A MINI OR SUMTHIN!
we got it cheap as chips, bought most of the stuff of some guy. pinch some rails from a construction site or something, beams for support, I dunno, maybe eighty quid, and then the ply, that's the expensive bit, you want marine ply, ours is only part marine ply and we've got to resurface it soon cos of that. A good mini's gonna cost you at least 350-400 probably, but have a look for plans on the net, work out what you need and ask at a builder's center or something. Word
oh yeah and make sure that transitions smoother than smooth, might be worth finding a ramp you like skating at a skatepark, and trace the shape onto a sheet of ply so you know it'll skate the same. You dig? Get ta buildin, all of you! Sittin in your house reading complete crap on the net about mini-ramps! What are you doing? Stop reading this. Go build a mini.
search for "mini ramp plans" on google, you'll need a fair bit of plywood and beams for the support, and two metal rails for coping, it's worth building your mini 12ft (ours is 12ft wide in part of the video and 8ft in others, we extended it a while ago and it's a completely different skate, much, much better) if you're serious about building one, get it done because it rules. I wanna see a picture of your half finished ramp in like, half an hour or whatever
