Thanks! Since deciding to take a ridiculous fanfiction pairing seriously in my video, I've actually done a lot of thinking (too much?) about the relationship, and here's what I think: Barty's been in Azkaban for a long, long time and then he's at Hogwarts, leaving no opportunity for him to meet any nice Death Eater ladies. Then Hermione - smart, relatively mature - discovers his secret.

What happens next is admittedly pretty stupid on Hermione's part, but Barty's reasons seem good enough!

I like that you picked up on the creepiness of it all. I was giggling to myself as I made it. I got the idea of using Rose as Hermione from a House vid I saw once where they darkened a scene of Cameron and Chase kissing so much that all you really saw were the hairstyles to identify the people. They used that to imply that it was Wilson instead of Chase, and it was pretty cool. Bless you Cassandra, for kissing the Doctor!
