hey, how tall are you. i am looking to upgrade from my 250 to this bike and i am 6'4. just wondering how the comfort level is. also how much did your frame sliders cost?
@btbbelesky Im 6'0 and id say the comfort level on this bike is a 7 out of 10. On long rides its not all that great because of seat doesnt have much padding. Also if i were you i would get a higher windshield. I have an upgraded one on this bike and it does a very good job of keeping the wind out of your face. The frame sliders were 20$
@pred123424 How much do the higher windshields go for. What is the MPG you get, Or how many miles to a tank of fuel. 37K miles so you bought it used, Or did you. Any and all info would be good, Thank's yl
@ylism The windshields go for around 100$ depending where u get them from. MPG is around 45ish. I did buy it used, but the first owner of this motorcycle was my farther. I wouldnt buy a used motorcycle from some random person.....u never know how they treated there bike. But if u are looking for used id say u can get a 05 fz6 for around 4,500$ depending on miles. If i where to sell my bike id say it for about that price. (it has about 7000 miles on it now)

hey dude nice bike! Ill be a first rider soon to and looking at that and a few other of those 600-650 sport tourers how would you compare the insurance on this bike to (if you checked those out) the others in this class? (im just hoping its not some crazy amount like a real sport bike thats all)
ony my honda hornet I do 70 on a first gear and still got 2k rpm left on a 'clock' I had the old fazer, they got shity gearbox. Probably someone told you not to give full gas to on a cold engine, but well you r newbie :p
I like it a lot:-) You can get it with gel and seat heater. I bought the one without the gell and its fine! I went on a 4 day trip to Sweden and the seat was very comfortable for up to 8 houers og riding pr. day.

My fiance surprised me with an 04 FZ6 in the same color scheme. Absolutely love hers, she has an 08. Check out the video of the unveiling at christmas.
I have a FZ6 and it's true in first gear it kinda "screams" with a high tone :) but in the second gear if you rev it up to 5 and then quickly pull down the throttle to 10 you can lift the front wheel off the ground SO EASY. I love this bike, I had before this one a Suzuki GS500E and a Kawasaki GPZ 500S (EX 500 in US)
ya man i m new rider too and i got the same thing a used 06 yamaha fz6. i would be nice if you showed a video on how you installed the frame sliders and the licence plate LED.
dude... let the engine warm up before opening the gas like that... you got basicly no right temperature and lubrication when you just started the ike, so just take it easy on the first few minutes bro
a 5 gallon tank is great. id be commuting on this and it would be great to not have to fill up every day. what kind of mpg do you think you're getting

dude... let the engine warm up before opening the gas like that... you got basicly no right temperature and lubrication when you just started the ike, so just take it easy on the first few minutes bro
