you know them two tenders together sounds pretty good i later want to upgrade mine to railsounds i seen a guy that swap out another bershire railsounds into his and it souned great deep chuffs and the whistle sound the wat it should and i found out why these #1225 engine have poor smoke output it is the plunger pistion not going high enough the lever it has to be bent up more very carefully theres more then enough heat to make smoke just need the air to push it out
Lionel trains are the best, but living in Australia there are a couple of technical issues like stepping down the voltage etc. My big problem is I can't use the train sounds tenders because the sound is triggered by the sine wave (US and Australia are different waves like the voltage). I've got no idea how it can be overcome.
O_o this is the toy in walmart right? i was thinking it was pretty cool but more as a collecting thing than a playing thing since i really like the polar express i didnt know it was like this :\ maybe i'll get it :D
The tender that comes with the Polar Express only does a few different sounds. The one we have is one you can purchase separately called the Polar Express Trainsounds Sound Tender(6-36847). I think it was a little over a $100. Hope this helps. :)
