  • Are you sure this is the first? Simon Simopath came out in '67.

  • @13thfloorhendrix You're correct, Simon Simopath was the first album-length opera. This was posted before I was aware of Simon Simopath and I just never bothered to change it, lol. Although SF Sorrow was still the first LP length opera, Simopath was technically just an EP.
