  • beautiful plants though GDP is some sweet smoke

  • medium looks like pipe tobacco

  • "the wind knocked it right off" SuuuUUUuUUuure

  • hey jorge, i have my plants about 2 inches from my 400 watt cooltube and ive noticed the bud not getting much fatter.. is that possibly because of what u were talking about?heat stress?

  • @xMasterKush 12 inches for hps light

  • I AGREE YOUR FRIEND NEEDS TO LISTEN TO YOU, THOSE POTS SHOULD NEVER OF BEEN BLACK THATS JUST COMMON SENSE, BLACK ABSORBS SUNLIGHT AND BECOMES HOTTEST OF ALL COLOURS AND SHADES

  • THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

  • there is 1 cocaine user

  • the outer of the planter pots would get hotter because of the sun being attracted to black and absorbs the heat. the centre of the soil would be moist and not as hot.

  • oo, a bud, "well have to save that"

  • Hey Jorge! Love the book, and loving the video's

What strain of buds you smoking? Your always so cheerfull LOL

  • Perhaps it would help if the grow bags where not black as that absorbs the most light. Ever wear a black shirt on a sunny day? Perhaps something of a lighter color and/or reflective would help. I don't really know anything about growing, but I do know that haha.

  • Hay works well blocking the sun and keeping the heat off the black pots....

  • what about planting smaller plants around the base, maybe some companion.

  • Jorge your a FUCKIN legend in my book.Inspire me to become a great grower like yourself!

  • look at all the earthworms in there!

  • We were using redi-grow organic compost, which comes in white bags, so we slit our bags down the sides and taped them together and then taped them around the pot. That was not enough, so we then got some bales of straw and stuffed the straw between the grow bag and the redi-grow bag, about a 3" layer. We kept the straw moist and that worked spectacular.

  • what we did to reduce the heat from our grow bags: We grew in above ground 3x3x2 boxes with 30 gallon grow bags on top. We lived in Nevada County, CA at the time, and it was quite warm! When we noticed that our girls were wilting even though they had been watered and the soil was moist, we did just like Jorge did. We dug into the soil and found it "smokin"! not good! The rest of the story is in the next post...

  • this is how my FarmVille would look like!! YaBoyeee! ; )

  • u should change the color of the pots to white.

  • smoking some SOUR DIESEL watching this video!

  • @Ryan4321 super lemon haze here...jummy

  • love how you waited a year to put up part one a day before this video!! thats siiiick!! keep livin the dream buddy!!!

  • @McDank805

It's hogwire, not cement frame fencing.... that stuff is usually rusty looking.

  • Whats the name of song?

  • Yea I read u can overdose but u can't die u will just get sick an feel uncomfortable an u might have slight hallucinations

  • found a bud! funny!

  • Only if my grandpa was like you :)))))

  • Keep Up The Great Work Jorge

Hey World Check Out My Arizona Medical Marijuana Grow

I have Grand Daddy Purple, Sour Grapes and White Widow.

Subb And Help Support The Arizona Medical Marijuana Movement

  • i Think your friend should take your advice. This is the second year this garden has had the same problem...

  • As a learner of english as second language, your speaking is very intelligible Jorge, you would be a good english teacher

  • 'Oh... look what happened!... I'll just save this bit for later'

    Haha

  • Not black either. If someone can invent a white soft pot...........

  • @fatguyonthc The black isn't the issue, smart pots are not as breathable as they should be. Check out magic pots at magicgrowing, they breath better, are much cooler, much thicker, stronger, last longer, and cheaper!

  • Jorge hey can u overdose on edibles????? Please answer my question!!!!!!!!!

  • @jonhigh7 You cannot overdose on cannibis without consuming more resin than your stomach can hold (physically impossible). You can however pull a whitey and have to pop from being overstoned especially if mixing with alcohol etc. Hope this helps

  • Should be using GeoPots, looks like SmartPots from the video, Geo is a bit thicker, more insulation

  • Jorge why doesn't he use styrofoam as an insulator.

  • i wont a day in the life of jorge cervantes can u make that happen jorge cervante

  • When I grow up I wanna be Jorge Cervantes

  • @suttonsplash14

come on he's just another knowledgeable grower who got lucky with a good job at HT its like saying i want to be like Arjan when i grow up a looser pollen chucker who rips people off.

  • your the man jorge!!!

  • Great Video!

  • hahahaha! "well have to save that for later". you dont know how bad i wanted to reach into my screen and take that bud....

  • How about this for the US growers: cutting into cartels profits by selling low-grade, cheap pot. No joke here: people buy from these horrible Mexican cartels simply because the stuff is around $100 an ounce (for 5-8% thc). US growers can, without murdering tens of thousands of people, and should sell that cheap stuff for the low-income crowd... it's a big niche and if done responsibly it is an ethical enterprise. Growers are already doing so many mids (8-15% thc) why not lows too?

  • I think those pots are made out of geotextile fabric (its like a heavy duty landscape fabric) its around $2.50 for a linear foot on a 15 foot roll (so 15 sq feet)....available at any decent building supply store

  • thats an awesome song at the end. does anybody know the artist and name?

  • jorge para los amigos de habla-hispana ponle subtitulos!

  • You should make a video of these plants being harvested! This should be the bomb at the end.

  • The videos Are getting better ever time..;0)

  • maybe add a bit of crushed ice to the upper soil surface.

  • Great video!

  • Jorge did those Granddaddy's stay really green due to the high temps? Not really giving it a chance to purple?

  • u should rename ur vids in ...HempScool with jorge.... xDDD

  • 0.28 make some charas dude xD

  • maybe use a sprinkler or irrigation system?

  • Ha! Smokin some of that purp right now, good bud!

  • Thanks for all the outdoor info Jorge and the cool web site.

  • what camera do you guys use

  • dude how can you improve water flow in the plant if you cant cool it down like this farmer?great vid

  • despit all those heat probs still looks like fire n plenty of it

  • still looks great do you tape your own garden and is yours indoors or out?

  • I always learn something new! great video.

  • Are the pots dug intwo the ground ?

  • how hot was it outside that day? i only ask cause i have been havin trouble keepin my indoor temps in the low 80s, they were actually in the low 90s for a couple weeks...but i have good airflow and air movement in my room, could that help with keepin the plants core temp down?

  • Another great tour!!! Gracias Jorge you are the man!!

  • thanks jorge!

  • After seeing how he has his water lines around the plants, would it be too much to install misters above each plant that activate when the temp gets above a certain point? I know that some orchards in the interior NW have those for apples, peaches and pears. Temps in Eastern WA can get as high as 115 deg in the shade.

Since he keeps the fencing from year to year, he could do the same for the sprinklers.

    Just a thought...

  • wonder if your friend takes offence to all these comments about his plants

  • lol, "its clean, been out of the butt for a while"

  • @sacredsecure LIKE THAT CULERO!!!

  • why dont you plant them in the ground?

  • They should make those grow bags green :0

  • Jorge is king of cannabis..thanks jorge for all your wisdom..

  • This garden had the same problems last time !! Is your friend not listening to you ?

  • Oops, damn this whole limb just fell right off, better save it for later ;) Awesome vid as always, when the outdoor season is over be sure and move indoors and keep the information coming! Peace brother.

  • A jorge did u see my vid called harvest time @hogs472sssj it with the same strain

  • in the sin city seen outdoor grows. with the heat well over the temps you are talking about with good meds all in all but i still hear you jorge

  • GDP is a moderate strength strain... I'm not dissing on it, but high grade strains are better. I'm stating the obvious here. Growers are going for that balance between quality & yield, but those who deserve healthy medicine (everyone) actually don't care so much that financial-balance on the farmers' end. Patients want the scale tipped toward quality (I'm guessing here). You can do it Cali! 20%+thc for all!

  • @tobynsaunders i will diss one GDP i hate that strain SHE will MOLD faster and more THOUROUGLY than any other strain FUK her outside for sure but inside shes great!

  • @81Kush Hate is a strong word for the best plant on Earth! Yikes! But, to be fair, there are differing phenotypes of every strain, so maybe some is top notch.

  • @81Kush @81Kush i grow GDP indoors and it has been really great it tested out at 21% and i can get around 11oz per plant. i don't where you got it or if its even the real GDP. Every1 i supply their meds to, always wants it over anything. i have grown a bunch of different strains, and GDP is one that i well have in my garden as long as I grow. It might be that i just have a great pheno, and control what they livein is why i have no problems with her.

  • A good idea is to grow a strain well suited to any extreme climate. In general, sativa dom crosses for heat, indica dom strains to beat cold. My 2 cents, peace.

  • jorge cervantes eres grande.me pasa una cosa al traducir la pagina al español los comentarios no los llego a entender por la traduccion , pero hay cosas que veo y me gustaria entender de usted gracias por exixtir
