I'm really looking forward to the final, so many good horses. The challenge series has been really fun and has put the spot light back on some great racers. Tomorrow(7/26) is yet another challenge race. I like the format, win your way into the final. After the tragic derby, racing needed this boost The old champs keep coming thru to run another day and show the world the heart of a great racer.
The Breeders Cup is tomorrow, July 26th and I really don't care who wins as long as they all finish and live to run another day. This is a wonderful example of the talents of an older horse. Horse racing needs to make alot of changes to make horses like this one the rule and not the exception. (Ok, I said I didn't care who wins, but I'm kinda hoping the old guy can win another one.)
A grand old man with plenty of fire in his belly. The solid 2nd place in June in the Grade 2 Brooklyn proved that. The 8 1/4 length win and setting the track record of the Greenwood confirmed that.
He's the poster boy for what a thrill racing can be if you keep the good ones in the game longer.
As soon as I saw him I cheered for him!

I love this old guy!!

How whitened he'd become over the years. To see him go out on top at age ten with his long strides was terrific.

One of my favorite horses all time...being a fan of NY racing for so long you can't help but love him. Glad to see him finally get a "Road Win".

Racing really needs more horses like this... the old warriors are so much fun to watch.

I love Evening Attire, what heart! He looked great, "running like an exuberant two year old through the lane" as Tom Durkin once said about him.
Awesome to watch, thanks for posting this!
