  • Hey brian, im sorta a chef in training any way you could give me some tips?

    -zzmegax

  • corn beef and cabbage

  • I am still viewing your entire log of videos so I apologize if I ask for something you already did. I would like to see:

    1. Beef tacos with Spanish rice and homemade refried beans.

    2. Chicken satay with a matching salsa.

    3. Good marinara sauce that I can make with garden tomatoes and store in jars for future meals.

Keep up the great work bro and remember that ratings/comments are on a ratio of like 1:1200. For every person that actually types something there are 1200 who share the sentiment.

  • okay, so I now have my evening cut out for me catching up on your videos. Hubby eats alot of lamb. I usually do pieces of it in a couscous but I bought a boneless leg of it at Trader Joe's and I don't want to ruin it. Thanks ChefB

  • Hey Susan,

I am going to try to get to as many requests as possible. Don't hold your breath though ok, lots of recipes to prepare and what not.

    Brian

  • Susan,

I like to roast leg of lamb myself. Rub with fresh minced rosemary, minced garlic, fresh cracked black pepper, kosher salt and olive oil.

Roast until desired tempature (140 for medium)

  • I brought up the subject of some kind of Carib dish, like a nice roti or something. But how about this for a challenge, canned chili. Or a little easier, a good, healthy, but filling potato salad that can be eaten as the actual meal.

  • Jason -

I have a very health, light potato salad that is full of flavor. It is more of a summertime dish but I bet I could whip that one up. Thanks for the idea ...

It is NOT a entire dish ... let me think about it ;-)

  • I know its rather plain, but I would like to learn how to make a pizza. If you are able to do that with your abilities!

  • Hi Alex,

Were making classic "tomato basil" pizza tonight. Sous chef Amanda's recipe - have you seen my two recipe on pizza so far?

Mexican pizza, and the "dough thin crust recipe" ...

  • I would like to see a good stuffed pepper.

    Or a chile relina.

  • Ron,

I like it ;-) Let me put on my thinking cap, I have done peppers in the past. We use ground turkey ... better for ya. However of late my wife is not too much into "ground" meats. Maybe "Santa Fe Stuffed Peppers" ...

Would be better mid summer ... with fresh corn.

    Sometime it will happen ;)

  • Thats funny, when you asked I was going to ask for a REAL mac and cheese lol. I make huge Spinach Salads HUGE for a meal.. I'd love to see what you come up with. I'm doing a vid of mine soon.

    keep it up.

  • Felixist..

That sounds like one great show, how to really dress up your food ;-)

Would be best at the hight of summer with all the fresh flowers, herbs and what not.

    Thanks for the idea.

  • How about a vegetable pasta? I am not big on lasagna, so much cheese. Will that work?

    Chef Brian

  • How about vegetable pasta, I am not a fan of all that cheese. Ricatta... no so much for me.

    Will that work suzanne?

    Bj

  • How about an easy, but good crock pot beef stroganaff recipe? Also, if you are using some unusal ingredients, can you suggest substitutions? Where I live, we don't have access to certain "exotic" cheeses and such. Looking forward to the videos!
