If it wasn't for Masato, Tanigawa would've never decided to make the K-1 Max(middle weight division). And if there was no K-1 Max, some of the fighters would have probably never faced each other and Zambidis probably would have kept a longer record of being undefeated, a lot of people wouldn't have known about Buakaw and etc.

In terms of strength and fighting skill, he can't compare with Buakaw and Andy, but he really looks like a pop star. It is what Buakaw and Andy really lack of.

Because is simply they dont fight for fame but for pride not like masato that doing acting and stuff like that. Buakaw have been fighting proffesional in Muay Thai at age of 8 and have never stopped since then Andy come from Holland that is compare able with thailand in kickboxing that make them great fighters then Masato

in no way am I hating on Masato, I like him actually but I was glad to see him humbled by Buakaw..it made him grow more as a fighter and became less of an arrogant prick.

Masoto is good at talking. But he is still far behind from Buakaw and Seuwer. Those two are younger than Masato and keep improving. I think Masato should retire from the world ring soon.
