LOL, speaking of drive fast music, I just finished the single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2. The driving segments in that game make HL2 seem like a leisurely ride to the county fair lol. I'd put up some vids but my computer is already about to explode just running the game!

Also I take back everything I said about MW2. They made the multiplayer basically a console port (i.e. designed for retards). Sad to say I'm playing COD4 again and about 200,000 pc gamers are pissed off and signing petitions to get it fixed. They'll do it if they have any shred of business sense.

Nah, all the aiming and tactical reloads etc from COD4 is still intact.

What really sucks is the multiplayer. There are no more dedicated servers, so you can't pick a server you like and keep going back to it, but rather you have to use their matchmaking service and HOPE you get a good server. Also, they don't show you your ping (connection speed), but a little bar graph like a cell phone. Also, you can't use console commands to see your stats, and there are no modding tools available.

The shotguns are still Hollywood-bastardized but that's something I can live with provided they fix the multiplayer. COD4 had among the best multiplayer of any shooter I've played, EVER. Why did they have to go and mess it up?

At the rate they're cranking out shitty console ports I might just reinstall Medal of Honor from 2002 and play that.

It really is a shame though, the customization and weapons aspects are extremely deep.

There are some nagging issues though, like why does your character do the "mag flick" technique with the FAL but not with the AK? And why are the shotguns inneffective past 10 feet? And why can't you select a shotgun or machine pistol or rocket/grenade launcher as a primary weapon? And why do the Russians have access to PP2000's, WA2000's, TAR-21's, and Cheytac M200's (!), but not AK-74's?

It's a kind of emergency reload where you "flick" out the empty magazine with the new one, it works on weapons with lever-style bag releases. There's different variations of it. Here's a few examples

Actually, on closer examination that last video (polish commando) doesn't show the mag flick, he seems to remove it with his hand rather than the new mag. Here's a more clear example.

The downside to this method is that it's an emergency reload so no mag retention.
