I think it was a great hire. If you stop and think about it, Petrino wasn't gonna get anywhere at Louisville. Look at the competition. He had the chance to coach in the pro's and took it. Unfortunately it was a shitty team and had a thug for a QB. He is finally where he wants to be in the best conference in the country. I can see Petrino staying at Arkansas for a long time.

Only two teams went to the SEC Championship Game more times than the Hogs in the last ten years. Taking a shitty program to national prominence takes a while. The Hogs got owned by SMU before Nutt came in. Nine winning seasons in a state that is full of 2 and 3 star recruits is pretty damn good.
