  • I agree that camels were a native species "before" a cataclysm destoyed them, but they did not prolong their genetic heritage through those times, the camels you see TODAY in North America were imported by man.

  • IN-TUR-ES-TING yo check it out, all megafauna became extinct in North America,6,000 years ago. yet inferior forms sprang back that were geneticaly disimilar. Levels of fossils should bear this out that short faced bears, smilodons, mamoths, camels, american lions, glypodonts, and terror birds have no parental link to the species we find here now, such as cougars, brown bears, armadilos and that roadruner bird that eats lizards. if so did the ever co-exist? or did something else happen? like a flood.

  • Noah's Flood? lol

  • i got the answer

    Noahs flood

    ref john mackay

  • @KiddJesus are you trolling or are you serius. bechose your awnser migth make you tottal idiot.

  • It would be interesting if scientists ever succeed in cloning a woolly mammoth.

  • wild horses are still around today and im not talking about zebras or the wild mustangs im talkin about other kinds of horses like the one that is shown here

  • @megahawk46

Europeans brought them back to N. America.

  • @megan130 I wish that were true and just look at the affects of a white tiger(a white tiger is a hybrid).some white tigers look friggin ugly and are killed and others are kept as pets or put in private zoos.some people and zoos are trying to stop this.plus, the way you do this is by getting a malee white tiger and a normal female tiger and if there are orange tigers in the batch they are killed or sold to others because ppl only want the white ones so yeah i agree.they would look ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love polar bear even do i did not see one of them only on tv and computer

  • camels in north america....ya surreeeeee ??

  • well they arent because they hadnt take them , but they can survive there.

  • @theend1245 go to google and type in the american camel and you'll see that the camels of north america were real

  • Is there any place that I can see the full episode online? I can't even find the DVD anywhere to buy it.

  • Funny they can state that it may have been man who sealed the fate of mamoths and other species.where are the great civilizations cappable of killing off the mamoths? who were the original members or occupants of North America (as we are taught)? INDIANS! and at the time of the white mans arival to America the Indians had MORE THAN ENOUGH to eat/hunt and showed tremendous respect for nature. Bison flooded the lands, deer, fish all other species thrived! i say no to man made extinction

  • Wow! Just 4000 years ago!

  • haha ur rite lol

  • you're a sad person lol

  • Why on earth would a scientist want to clone a mamoth and bring them back to life when people around the globe can't even find a way to keep the actual existing species alive, including human specie.

The idea is not just ludicrous it's just plain nonsense.

All people have to do is give the real importance to what they have before it's gone.

Ok people are not responible for the mamoth's extinction but they are gone. End of the story.

    Next...

  • Human species aren't going anywhere you idiot, god you're so stupid!!!!

  • @deftify no one is correct not even you deftify,we don't know that the humans will die as well as all other species.you might be saying that we won't go anywhere because you are scared.

  • you waste my energy with with comment which has no sense and send back back manners to the prehistoric age. Instead, you could check a course from which you could benefit and from which others would benefit as well.

There are adult courses even though you behave like a toddler in every way.

    Good day

  • I really hope they clone a Mammoth.

  • @sirberserk505 that would be just ugly cause all animals who are cloned would have a side effect and die

  • Very interesting, thx for posting.
