This beats the crap on tv today! I was very young when Noels house party was on, but would love to see this again on a saturday night. Ant and Dec Eat your hearts out!
Hmm, now then back in the 90's you had what, 5 channels and TV was f**kin great, now with sky, freeview and cable etc you got 100-odd channels and nothing but sh*t. What the hell happened. BRING THESE PROGRAMS BACK>>>>>NOW
@tonymontana1974 alot of people would dissagree with you there and if it does come back atleast it will be ALOT better than all these crappy talent shows and i would love for it to come back
Ahh 90's weekend tv. Baywatch and Noels house party on saturday night, generation game with Bruce. And then on Sunday night it was Lovejoy, antiques roadshow, keeping up appearances...........and my friggin homework I'd left till the very last minute.
I remember sometimes this starting late on a Saturday night after 7pm and every pub used to turn the jukebox off and even start the discos late, turn on the pub telly full blast and everybody watched it and this on a Sat night out and everyone loved it.Bring it back now TV needs a kick up the arse and this is it.
Live and kicking in the morning then Grandstand all afternoon, then the news for ten minutes the. Allo Allo or Dads army at 5:25pm. Then big break, then this or the generation game. Casualty then the news and match of the day.
This was such a shit tv program! Thank fuck BBC saw sense and got rid of it!!! Channel 4!!! Please put that smug twat Noel Edmonds in a box and bury it!!!!!!!!!!
ahhh perfect saturday night viewing in the winter sat infront of the tv with the family having a good laugh greate memories just not the same anymore how i wish this show could come back insted of the no factor and britains got no talent
No one died on it you muppet,it finished because it had run it's course,Edmonds milked that BBC cow out of every drop, after about 6 or 7 years he was still using the same gags and stunts as year one.
Ah, Noels House Party. A perfect excuse for Financial advisors, Insurance Salesmen and Health & Safety Officers to travel to the BBC, sit in the audience and act anarchic for an hour.
I so looked forward to Saturday nights as a young fella. I couldn't wait for the House Party to start so that I could roll around the floor laughing at Frank Carson!! What a show, terrible shame the Beeb doesn't have anything like it now.
@MartyFA The tune is actually a very slight reworking of the one which was used for the Saturday Roadshow, which itself was the pre-runner to House Party. So really, the tune wasn't originally quite designed for the House Party's style. I have the Saturday Roadshow version on mp3, I'll see if I can dig it out and upload it some time.
same here me and my nan would always watch this on a saturday night i ust 2 get soo excited when the intro ust 2 start because this was such a qulity program
@wesker100000000 that's why I don't watch TV much these days apart from some sport every now and then I generall ystick wit hmy DVD's at least I know I'm getting good viewing when I see them
the thing is the bbc tried to bring this back in the form of that pile of shit they hgave to grahame norton which btw was cancelled 1 week early due to only pulling in 2 million viewers
so BBC
BRING BACK THE HOUSE PARTY AND DONT TRY TO REPLICATE IT WITH SHIT PRESENTED BY A GAY WANKER
i ust 2 love watching this when i was younger me and my nana would always watch this on a saturday night .there is not alot 2 watch on a saturday night now i really wish they would bring this back eventhou i am nearly 17 i reall like this show BRING IT BACK
Oh my god, it reminds me of the weekend in my school days ...followed by the generation game with bruce forsyth...and then on Sunday, it would be songs of praise, keeping up apperances, last of the summer wine, and then lovejoy at 9.00pm.
I remember this Show for the brilliant banter goings on between Noel and Mr Blobby , including the old dreaded Gunge Machine which Noel pritty much got covered in all the time . .. . .
But i dont remember the Title Sequance being like that . . ... well , it has been Years since the Show ended so im bound to have forgotten .
No it didn't - House Party was always set in Crinkley Bottom. You must be thinking of Saturday Roadshow or the Late Late Breakfast Show, still with Noel Edmonds and in many ways the forerunners to the House Party.
Shit??? This was THE show to watch on Saturday nights in the 90s. Saturday night telly was much better back then :D ITV: Catchphrase/Family Fortunes Batman Stars in their Eyes Gladiators BBC: Big Break/Generation Game Noel's House Party Superman I wanna go back to the innocence of a 90s childhood :(
I loved this show. Unfortunately when it was on, I was too young to fully understand it, but there are rumours on the internet that BBC might bring it back. Let's hope so.
Noel's House Party was brilliant. Back in the days when Saturday TV used to be fun and entertaining. If I had the choice I'd much rather watch repeats of Noel's House Party than brand new episodes of X Factor or Strictly!!!
I always watched NHP when I was younger with my Nanna, Grandad, Mum and Dad. We all loved it. I am missing that show so much they should bring it back to BBC 1 every saturday night. I wonder why they axed such a fab show? I loved the celbs getting gunged in all of Noel's gunge tanks he had in the house. I also remember one one episode the audence of NHP got gunged as well as the celbs. Long live NHP I love Noel forever and I always will. BRING BACK NHP BACK TO BBC1 with new and old gunge tanks.

just a rip off of noel's house party...

Watching SMTV Live as a kid Ant and Dec were amazing....
Z list Celebrity Eating Bollocks programme there inprove and presenting are excellent.
Pop Idol and BGT there also good.
But Saturday night takeaway is such a rip off of house party and its got boring and to familar thats why its only given 6 episodes a series.....
Saturday night TV is dead no wonder BBC are thinking of bring back House Party...
