WOW, I've never heard this song before, such a waste that it wasn't released as a single as im sure it would have been a big hit, i love the girl groups of the 60s but the Ronettes were the best, and 3 very beautiful girls. many thanks for a great post.
Don't know why this wasn't released as a single, cause I think it would have been their biggest hit. It was always a party favorite, plus the Lovin' Spoonful covered it on their first album and that's important.
The little 'Unh' at the end makes my hair stand on end... Plus, there's a little element of ANGER in this song (like a lot of Spector)- like there's gonna be plenty of 'get even' f*cking....

One of the greatest songs that never became a hit for anybody. Maybe Led Zepplin should have given it a shot.
