have a rhodes 73 i got it in bahrain 5 years ago for $200 its the one that sits in the speaker and sliders and knobs i love it i will keep it forever i never gig it in london but just play it in my studio love yhe video mate

My sister used to have one similar to this back in her high school days (late 1970s). Sometimes, I wish that she'd never have sold it because it had that neat little vibe sound to it that appealed to me so much.

I know of at least one band where this instrument really got its workout. David Lawson of Greenlade (1973 - 1975) was one keyboardist who really put it at center stage. Stevie Wonder often played it on his 1970s albums.

Which reminds me, I have to TUNE mine, which I've been putting off for weeks! This is the same one I have, but mine's a '74. The guts and sound are the same, the logo says "Rhodes" not "Fender." I'dalways wanted one and God dumped it into my lap!
