This GtR will demolish any Porsche in anything in the same price range or more that Porsche has to offer. I was laughing at Porsche because the GTR made it look so easy. But its nothing against Porsche, the GTR demolish every other car too.
The reason the GTR is so dominant is because of that well off launch control and DCT that doesn't lose boost on shifts. Audi/Lamborghini said OH HELL NO... so the new generation R8 is gonna DCT with launch control, & the Gallardo replacement is gonna have ISR transmission (Aventador makes it look like GOD) with launch control. So pretty much this "advantage" will be put to rest pretty soon... bring on the future :)

lol i don't think so, it took nissan over 20 YEARS to change from the standard RB26 to the setup they go with now. They're gonna keep the VQ for atleast a couple more years. Nissan has always stuck to low displacement turbo vs large based engines, going 5L or 6L would be aftermarket at most. Like I said, Nissan has everything to lose at this moment because its competitors WILL offer the same tech with HIGHER Power to Weight Ratio. I Can't wait to see what the new supra will be

Let's not forget that most of these cars have or will receive major updates soon. The C7 Corvette, the next-gen Viper, a 458 Scuderia, MP4-12C HS, Aventador SV, the 991 GT3RS/GT2RS, and the next Enzo replacement.

UGR does a fantastic job, and considering they're one of the only of their kind, it's a miracle they do what they do. The UGR Lamborghini STILL destroys the AMS on a rolling start, and if they had more resources, they could research a better launch control and destroy the AMS12 in the standing 1/4 or full mile.

But to say that EVERY V12 from this generation is more powerful than EVERY V6 from this generation? You'd have to be an idiot to believe such a claim. Yes, V12s have more potential, but they're also CONSIDERABLY heavier, and the switch from a V6 twin turbo to an N/A V12, or even worse, a twin turbo V12, would require heavy re-engineering of the GTR.

Yes, it would probably be faster in a straight line, but track times would be significantly sacrificed. So if Nissan wanted to only go for straight line, then I agree, a V12 would make it faster. But knowing the GTR is a track vehicle, they would NEVER put a V12 in it, unless they were to re-engineer the WHOLE thing. Even then, increased performance isn't guaranteed.

A 911 turbo is what like 170k ish a gtr is about 90k, not sure how much alpha 12 is but assuming its 80k for the same amount nissan made a faster car with more HP, props to them. The reason the GTR is so dominant is because of that well off launch control and DCT that doesn't lose boost on shifts. Audi/Lamborghini said OH HELL NO... so the new generation R8 is gonna DCT with launch control, & the Gallardo replacement is gonna have ISR transmission (Aventador makes it look like GOD) with launch control. So pretty much this "advantage" will be put to rest pretty soon... bring on the future :)

lol i don't think so, it took nissan over 20 YEARS to change from the standard RB26 to the setup they go with now. They're gonna keep the VQ for atleast a couple more years. Nissan has always stuck to low displacement turbo vs large based engines, going 5L or 6L would be aftermarket at most. @AjViShus ohk first that lambo aventator with ISR trans and launch contro is 0-100 in 2.9s and gtr is 0-100 in 2.8s.....(GTR STILL FASTER)....also by the time lambo aventator on market, the gtr 2013 or 2014 will make it in 2.5 sec since nissan is making new gtr with 7speed and direct injection.......and hopefully nissan will make gtr lighter using carbon fibre as lambo.....honestly NISSAN WILL STILL AT THE TOP....of all the sport car i think GTR and PORSCHE are the best

Let's not forget that most of these cars have or will receive major updates soon. The C7 Corvette, the next-gen Viper, a 458 Scuderia, MP4-12C HS, Aventador SV, the 991 GT3RS/GT2RS, and the next Enzo replacement.

UGR does a fantastic job, and considering they're one of the only of their kind, it's a miracle they do what they do. The UGR Lamborghini STILL destroys the AMS on a rolling start, and if they had more resources, they could research a better launch control and destroy the AMS12 in the standing 1/4 or full mile.

As soon as you tune it, you strip all pride that should be associated with the Nissan and GTR names, because it's not THEIR engineering that is making it win. It is the tuners.

More cylinders and more displacement does NOT mean the car would immediately become faster. Why the fuck do you think they haven't put a V10 or V12 in it already? Because the V6 was chosen BY DESIGN. But to say that EVERY V12 from this generation is more powerful than EVERY V6 from this generation? You'd have to be an idiot to believe such a claim. Yes, V12s have more potential, but they're also CONSIDERABLY heavier, and the switch from a V6 twin turbo to an N/A V12, or even worse, a twin turbo V12, would require heavy re-engineering of the GTR.

Yes, it would probably be faster in a straight line, but track times would be significantly sacrificed. So if Nissan wanted to only go for straight line, then I agree, a V12 would make it faster. But knowing the GTR is a track vehicle, they would NEVER put a V12 in it, unless they were to re-engineer the WHOLE thing. Even then, increased performance isn't guaranteed.

Oh come on, you need to give credit where credit is due. A 911 turbo is what like 170k ish a gtr is about 90k, not sure how much alpha 12 is but assuming its 80k for the same amount nissan made a faster car with more HP, props to them. A 911 gt is probably pushing 250K, for that extra 80k it should be better.
