Canada's best!!! I love all of his music and I listen to him over and over and over again! and then some more! Give me a hells yeah peeps! thumbs up 4 him!
Through his madness....Matthew Good has given us coherence and poetic brilliance.....and who said the talent brought back from the fringe of lunacy was worthless....
I think that it is unfortunate Good is not as popular as he should be, I guess its moronic Americans going for crap like Nickel Back. Somebody who claims he had known Good for 20 years even though Good has been around for 15 years takes such offense if you say the slightest bit of negative criticism Good is an excellent not to mention my favorite musician however I think we would all have to agree as Good Fans that he has written few bad albums
A of B, Hospital Music and White Light R n R Review
@bothan101 I'm an American and I can assure you that not all Americans are morons (Though I understand where you're coming from.) Matthew Good is the man, and this is one of my favorite tracks by him. Some songs off this album are kind of strange, but this song in particular is one of those songs you just fall in love with right away. Another tallented musican, if you guys haven't heard of him yet, is Dan Mangan. If Good and Mangan ever played a show together, I'd explode :)
@bothan101 no such thing as a bad album. you just don't enjoy them. i love all of his musical work, so in my eyes, it isn't bad. btw... sorry about posting on your old comment... it just got to me a little.
I lost my Vancouver album a few months ago and just found it again a few days ago, it was in my spare room under some folded blankets. I'm so glad I found it and this is my fav song on the entire album!
This song is so intense it brings out the best in me I'm so fueled with passion & energy.I'd use it productively to make a change for the better, alll you Matt Good fans GO EXPLODE!!! lol This music is great to workout to, keeps the adrenaline going.
Well, I'm a huge fan of his from Ireland, and finally made it over to Canada to see him for a couple of shows on the Vancouver tour. Headed to London and Kingston and met the man himself on the tour bus after the latter show. The man is gentleman.
I will never forget him coming onto stage and opening the London show with "On Nights Like Tonight". I nearly lost my mind. Though to be fair, he could have opened it with anything and I'd have gone nuts. Golden memories.
I saw Matthew Good a couple of days ago in Portland and did this song second in the set after "Born Losers" and just before "Load Me Up". He's so fuckin' awesome it's ridiculous. Great songs, great singer, & great songwriter. I love this guy's stuff
I've never heard Matthew Good live, yet. But I'd love to hear this song .... Im dealing with bull from a friend and this song helps me to express inward feelings I otherwise would not get out.
Great track. I miss when he used to play clubs like the commodure ballroom, was insanely brilliant in those places live. Still very good in the theatres just a little bit less energy. Look forward to more from him, think he's reaching his peak now.
ill admit kinda drunk gonna ramble havnt hesr his new stuff since tonight really impressed though has the same deep feeling as the rest.... can understand how u say hes way to under rated but think about it this way only the real peaple listen to real music
can't wait for his show on november 16, been waiting for a few years..so under rated, wish more people appreciated his music, a great pioneer in the Canadian music industry, im so glad he's back...so am I...finally!
@icymanipulator75 holy crap so true. he just seems to keep pluggin away and makin better music all the time.. this is proof right here. vancouver rocks
@Socialcode90 well folks there u have it... another uneducated simpleton that resorts to slang and hatred to protect his inner enemy ...EGO ... wake up bro...i'm not challenging you...i'm stating my opinion...that freedom to express my views should'nt bother you...your EGO has attacked you again... you will find it very hard to get over the fact that this inner enemy is doing this to you... good luck simple minded man
Just want to say thanks for putting these songs up. As an Aussie who is still waiting for the cd to arrive from Maple Music, and with Matt's live stream no longer available, I was really hanging out to hear these songs again.
because i got tickets for his first show, but im on the 3rd level... wasnt too happy with that... later that day he announced a second date where i got floor seats so yeah... might sell my tickets for the first show though
I seen him in N.Y. last march i was 3 feet away from him he was awesome. When he sings at shows it sounds like hes in the studio its that good... Very talented, Love this album cant wait, True fan ...Keep it goin Matt....Another Masterpiece...
Good albums take a long time to complete. To write all the songs, rehearse them, record them, layer them, mix them, master them and finally release them, all within' limited studio time and money takes a helluva lot of time and effort. Ex: The Beatles spent 700 hours just in the studio to make Sgt. Pepper, and that doesn't include the time they took to write, rehearse and release it. I'd rather hear an artist release one good album in five years than five crap records in five years.
Canada's best!!! I love all of his music and I listen to him over and over and over again! and then some more! Give me a hells yeah peeps! thumbs up 4 him!
