I know I'm just a confused person...but may I remind you that the size of a corporation does matter, as does the dominance of all market sectors by larger and larger entities. Yes...quality of leadership does play a role, even an important role...but when companies take over other businesses that same management quality is eroded. That's what's happened in the banking mess. It used to be that banks, conservative and primary function, was to loan companies/people money. Today it's the opposite.

It is the QUALITY OF THE LEADERSHIP, elected or allowed, that matters most

People would still organize themselves into a system for either the benifit of a class of people, or for the general area(cities, states, etc).
