These girls do have talent. The only thing I don't get is that maybe the bass player should sing backups instead of just standing there.. then the drummer can drum in peace. (unless she doesn't have a good voice??)

The bass has to be on beat and everything but it's not that hard to multitask- I can sing lead and bass no problem..

I love it. The version Smoosh did on the (now defunct) FabChannel was the best. She sings with more passion than the dude from Bloc Party. Not that I know much about them....

I just like anything that these girls sing.

on the performances around this time (even though they weren't as confident with the song,) they still sang the verse completely in tune. now when they sing it, they try and sort of say it (like the bloc party singer) a bit more, but it doesn't sound good when they do it that way. they should've kept singing it like this...

I sort of agree. Not about age, it just seems that thier voices don't quite fit into the song, though that might just be because of being used to hearing bloc party sing it... saying that, i don't think it is.

Just watched this again. SUCH a GREAT performance!!! I like how you let us watch the entire band the whole time, and the slight zoom out and then back in is perfect! Zooming up close on a single performer is great too and I think most of the Smoosh videos do that. So for me anyway, this is a VERY NICE change to have the full band in the frame the entire time. It's perfect!!! Oh, and Smoosh.... YOU ROCK!!! Love your sound and style on this song (and that gorgeous harmony)!!!

Well, what's going on here (and it's been going on for a few years now) is the talented progression of the most amazing band (for their age, each member) that there has ever been. The songs on their albums (two so far) are all Smoosh originals. Amazing is clearly an understatement for these gals!
