I remember listening to this game on ISP. Listening to David, Randy and Brownie from wire to wire and by the end of the 1st quarter I felt it. I knew in my heart we could win this game and it was fun to also watch ESPN scramble to try and find stats, and to listen to the pronouciation change by the commentators from app-e-lashion to app-uh-latch-in. I also remember Lou Holtz during halftime tell his companions to watch out, that ASU was going to beat Michigan.
The fact that we are three years removed from Michigan's loss to App. St. and UM's inability to rebound from that loss is almost sad................almost. : )

Michigan did rally from an 0-2 start and finished 8-4. Then they beat Florida in a bowl game. Then of course RichRod took over. In the last two years, Michigan wouldn't even make the 1-AA playoffs.

I live in North Carolina so I am a little bit of an App. state fan but they would not win any conference except the ACC, SEC, or PAC-10. The Big 12 Oklahoma and Texas would beat ASU, Big East South Florida and West Virginia and Rutgers and maybe Lousiville would win, the Big 10 Ohio State is the king of that conference and would beat app., the WAC Hawaii would put ip like 50 points on ASU.

And your team got plasterd by UF (the team UM beat) and by LSU in a game the fuckeyes shouldn't have even been in because WVU and Oklahoma laid eggs. Enjoy your B10 championships with your 'vest God' that nobody in the nation will respect anymore because of UM's loss to App. St. this loss was a reflection on the whole conference.

I live in North Carolina so I am a little bit of an App. state fan but they would not win any conference except the ACC, SEC, or PAC-10. The Big 12 Oklahoma and Texas would beat ASU, Big East South Florida and West Virginia and Rutgers and maybe Lousiville would win, the Big 10 Ohio State is the king of that conference and would beat app., the WAC Hawaii would put ip like 50 points on ASU.

i think app state would win any major conference xcept for 3 of them. SEC,PAC-10,andthe ACC. they're amazing. They will beat everyone for the rest of the year. DID anyone say 3 in a freaking row. Tell me wen Montana or any team other than us in the top 5 will lose again everyone will lose except us we will be the 1 or 2 seed and extend r winning streak to 36 in a row @ home and beat Montana in the National Championship. The SEC is overrated, and USC wouldn't be #1 if they had a shitty strength of schedule and what conference are they in? Oh yeah the Pac-10.
