Parkour = Used too get around/over/past obstacles as fast as possible

Freerunning = Doing unnecessary flips, and doing sick things.

In the french millitary they train parkour for 1 reason, in closecombat you want to get away as far as possible and strike from a distance. With that I mean establish a plan to take the enemy down. I wouldn't do random flips each other time a punch comes at me. I'd run away x). Freerunning is impressive, but not usefull at all, exept getting ladies

@DoC3Viper Exactly right. Although at some point when you're doing parkour I nearly guarantee you're going to land and accidentally pitch forward or backward, at which point it's helpful to have practiced free running so you don't die :)

@cameronversluis That's true, but depends on how flexible you are. It's almos the same princible as Pj's, it's all about how you strech your body. But if the diffrences between the hight is big. f.eks 14 feet up in air. And only 7 feet of hight. You may hit your head. And 14 feet is pretty scary trust me. But if you want too survive, do parkour but practice freerunning.
