  • why is the temperature never rising inside the combustion chamber?

  • ok thank you

  • great simulation, it is possible to contact the person in this case your friend in order to share information with fluent simulation.

  • @eloy785

sorry, but I dont have more contacts from my colleague. That was a long time ago.

  • hi! great animation!

should it be possible for you to send me the files of this simulation? i'm learning my self CFX and can't find how to do this kind of simulations, where there are mobile parts...any help should be great. Thank you!

  • sorry, i did not make the simulation, i take this video on a workshop from a friend of mine.

  • Superb, do you know of any way to take into consideration the large pressure rise after combustion?

  • Thanks for the comment. But sorry, i did not make the simulation, i take this in a workshop from a friend of mine.

  • @DBFIU As the exh valve opens the gas escapes, this then leads to a drop in pressure, and also cylinder temperature, causing the gas inside to contract, this contraction can clearly be seen at .29 seconds, and some gas re-enters cylinder, this can be called exhaust gas reversion. There are ways to combat this as much as possible using a few methods, Hope this comment helps.
