This is the game you have been waiting for. Why is GreenPleco different from any other mobile app you ask? Well for starters how many apps are out there that are really FUN and donate money to help animals and the environment. Also how many have a Pleco as a main character. Just visit our webpage and see for yourself.
that doesnt look like a glyptoperichthys, the body shape and fin doesnt match. a real G. Gibbiceps has a rounded fin and a very large head compared to a sharply tapering tail. The flat head and triangular fin makes your fish look more like a Pterygoplichtys species, or some sort of hybrid.
I just got a pleco and he's/she is probably 3-4 inches long...I'm hoping it doesn't get that big. I have him in a 10 gal tank for now but will be switching him to a 20 gal tank...hopefully it be happy otherwise I'll have to find someone with a bigger tank if it grows much bigger than 8 inches or so. I should have done more research doh.
thats not a gibby its a pterygoplichthys multiradiatus. genus liposarcus techinically doesnt exist anymore and i dont think its a pardalis everyone automatically labels black sailfins as a pardalis but most people dont know pardalis have coalesced cheveron pattern on the sides. a only spotted pattern suggests pterygoplichthys multiradiatus. not as well known
It's because I heard that the Plecos are the ones who bother the goldfish by sucking the slime coat and I'm planning to buy a small pleco so it would get use to their tank mates...............So you guys think it's a good idea?????????
yea i was just at the fish store with my kids & we saw an albino & one just like this, both about 20 inches -- i did not know they got that big (i have 4 smalls in a 55 gallon)!!!

sometimes newly introduced plecos can refuse to eat and can often benefit from slices of cucumber anchored to the bottom

I want to add a Pleco to my goldfish tank........Do you guys think it's a good idea to add it or will it harass my goldfish????????
mnxmnx07 4 years ago
I think that it is OK, Pleco is only interested in a seaweed.
aquarius13jp 4 years ago
Plecos don't tolerate salt, so seaweed is out.
