I find it has lost it's luster. I mean realistically he has tried this a few times now, and it's the same result. It's cool because it is beastly but it's only a matter of time before someone fliptricks.
it's because of the widescreen filming, the lens' are designed for 4:3 standard filming, with widescreen it shows more of the right and left edges of the lens that weren't really supposed to be shown in the original design... it's like when you try to zoom in a bit it goes out of focus immediately (more on century optics)
