I learned this song from Ozarks folksinger May Kennedy McCord and use it all my performances. It's a crowd pleaser. Peggy does a super fine job. I think Peggy may have learned this from her older half brother Pete who learned this song and Risselty Rosselty from May's singing when Pete visited her back in the early fifties. May thought the world of Pete.
