Actually if you're allergic to cats at all you should wash them regularly, when they clean themselves the scent glands in the sides of their mouth get that stuff all over them plus they don't get all the dander when they clean themselves (especially long haired cats). Contrary to popular belief it doesn't hurt cats to be washed just make sure you get all the soap off of them since there skin can dry out if you don't. My cat Doc loves baths and even jumps in the shower if you leave the door open.

I am very careful to make them comfortable and I keep them safe. When they are not taking a bath they sit on the tub ledge and jump in the tub for water.
I think she may have some kind of Tiffany(talkative) or Angora(they are known for their love for water!). She has medium-long hair on the body and has a long fluffy tail.

She rolls in the dirt outside, and doesn't clean herself afterwards, so we have to bathe her. I don't think I'm asshole for doing it... though I agree, if you're cat is relatively clean, you shouldn't.
when i take a bubble bath, my cat cookie hops onto the tub and paws at the biubbles. i find it amusing. she actually ate a bubble or 2 and she started sneezing. it was hilarious

That isn't entirely true. Once my cat got into oil, so I had to bath her. There are certain cases where you HAVE to bathe a cat.

I had to wash her when her whole body got covered with her own urine and stool(don't know how! but she did when she was in heat) and she couldn't clean herself.
