  • AWESOME,LIKE ALWAYS

  • Leahy as in Leah - y? My name is Leah, how strange

  • you actually pronounce it Leh-he

  • Leahy is actualy my last name, for me its pronounced Lay, as in lay down. =P

  • Who and what isnt strange these days!

    Just look at global warming!

  • Leahy is completely amazing! I love 'em!

  • I've been to several of their concerts and heard this medley played every time and it's always slightly different, except in the fact that it's incredible.

  • I played with them in Youngstown they played with the symphony there which I'm in and they played this and then they nailed these Christmas tunes. There was even a little guy named Xavier that did the toe dancing and he did a great job. They're very good and very nice people.

  • They make you want to get up and dance. :)

  • I do get up and dance!

  • they are so awesome.. i really love the violins and the tap dancing..

  • amazing, does anyone have vids of "borrowed time" or "moment"

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • i love this, can anyone explain the difference between cape breton and classic scottish fiddle?

  • My sirname is leahy!!

  • *Surname

  • Anyone have a video of Erin singing 'Moment'? It's a great song.

  • is it true that leahy had said that cape breton's can't play the fiddle for beans (shit)

  • I am rather incredulous as to whether any of the Leahys would say that, considering Donnell married a Inverness county native, Natalie MacMaster. They absolutely love Cape Breton, and I am sure they would never disregard its beautiful music. Their mother is from Cape Breton as well. Cheers!

  • awesome!

  • I love there expressions!!!!

    LEAHY YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks for posting this. :-)

  • I love the DVD I got at one of the concerts. They are jaw-dropping amazing musicians (Not to mention nice as can be.)!

  • They are just amazing

  • Fantastic!!! One of my favorites! Thanks for posting this.

  • Donnell Leahy — Fiddle Erin Leahy — Piano, Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Vocals, Bass Angus Leahy — Fiddle Maria Leahy — Guitar, Banjo, Vocals Siobheann Donohue (née Leahy) — Bass, Vocals, Fiddle Doug Leahy — Fiddle Agnes Enright (née Leahy) — Keyboards, Step dancer, Vocals Frank Leahy — Drums these 3 are not currently preforming: Denise Leahy — Vocals Chrissie Leahy — Keyboards Julie Leahy — Vocals
  • You copied that from Wikipedia; didn't you? I amended the information last year after an initial entry didn't list the touring members and their instruments correctly. The song DA (Stoney Lake & Juniper Island) from the Lakefield album was written as tribute to a dance hall at the lake our cottage is on. We followed the band from their childhood as The Leahy Family, to young adults when their paths diverged, to re-grouping as Leahy in time to open for Shania Twain's 1998 Come On Over tour.

  • hey love it.. I'm related to them my name is Sarah Leahy!!!!

  • Really same!! I live in Engalnd,Cheshire my mums sirname is Leahy!! And i have have 5 sisters and 2 brothers all Leahy's. Im India Leahy.

  • Amazing truly amazing!

  • Can someone tell me their names? I know Erin is on the piano, and Donnell is lead fiddle. But, who are the other members of this talented family.

  • Angus is the fiddler in white, Doug is in blue, Frank Jr. plays drums, Siobheann (Donohue) is on bass, Maria plays guitar, Agnes (Enright) dances and plays keyboards, Donnell is the front man in red and multi-dimensional Erin plays piano, sings, looks gorgeous and steals the show every night. Luv her.

  • Thanks for the info juniper1962! I agree, Erin is not only talented, but also very pretty. Some day I hope to see their show live...they won't be anywhere near by for a long time. (sigh)

  • you guys are awesome!!!! loving it!!!! cant wait to see you live!!!! kepp rockin!!!

  • Add me to the list of people who thought it would be boring, but was totally amazed.

Erin's voice is angelic on 'Moment'. It's a better song than 99% of the crap on the radio today.
