Its cool to see a car in such incredible original condition but damnit these cars are meant to be driven, i wouldnt be able to consider myself an owner or enthusiest if i drove my car a total of 4 miles. She's only happy when she's on the road doing what she was meant to do, not being a super expensive decoration
When he said 'garage' he meant a vacuum-sealed chamber with infared detectors and a state-of-the-art anti-burglar apprehension system. Sh!t... the things I'd do to get a hold of an all-original beauty like that! Though, I probably wouldn't drive her that much either, if at all.... she's just to beautiful!!! =')
damn, i just inherited a 67 396 from my aunt i have to wait till i'm 18 before i can register it in my name but thats only 10 months, the origionall motor and 4spd were stolen in 1970, and it's was sitting in her garage since then till 6 months ago, i was givin a ls7 and six speed from a wrecked covette as payment for some work done to the wrecked car that now is a 572 powerd dragster, it is currently undergoing rust repair, and all the glass i being made because it was all smashed out
I think this is a shame, because it was built for driving 40 years ago. and keeping it in a garage and trailer it to car shows, reminds me of famous pictures of Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci. Watch it but don't touch, or in this case, touch it but don't drive it....
But again, a unrestored and untouched 427ss in this condition is just awesome....
I have seen a lot of 67 SS Impala's but never an original untouched one with the 427 motor and hood. JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! I have a red 67 SS impala convertiable with 396. Just wanted to say You Have the ULTIMATE 67 SS 427 IMPALA!!!
Wow u drove it only 4 miles why even have it then? Its just a giant sculpture basically
