@csumart I thought the same thing. This video he has a red mohawk, and in the Race trailer he has no head hair. I think it's because this video is of him talking in a cinematic that was made a looong time ago, and the Races trailer is just him walking, rendered as a Charr, and the actual Rytlock we see in-game.

@outlawkelb There is a video but it's not a very good one in my opinion. It cuts out a lot of what goes on in the dungeon and just shows the times when the players sit for periods of time just striking at ghosts.

I personally was disappointed, but still have hope considering from what I've read in articles of what the whole experience is really like. And um... I think you'll appreciate the appearance of that purple butterfly haze in the action at some point. Even though they've said that the ghosts are of the Gw1 professions including mesmer, the positions of the haze kinda implicates that it might be a player.

Not after Magdaer, noap. I think what folks are going on about is the retrieval of the Claw of hte Kahn-Ur in Ghosts of Ascalon. In Edge of Destiny, no Catacombs diving occurred, that only occurred in Ghosts of Ascalon for... well, the obvious reasons, yeah? I mean, 'Ghosts of Ascalon' is a bit telling.

@Massatrocity For all we know, he could possibly be holding the sword of the king's son (which is said to be the only thing that can put the spirits to rest). That's just my guess... Or he's holding just another fiery dragon sword considering they were numerous in the Ascalonian army during Gw1.

In another recent interview colin said that Anet reads to gw2 forums ALL the time and how they try to take from the community new ideas or places to improve and he specifically pointed out the large distaste amongst fans of the cinematic quality, voice acting, animations, etc. this is a perfect example of how they do listen and do improve things to satisfy their fan base. This is an excellent cut scene, especially compared to what we saw from the pax east norn cut scenes. Bravo Arenanet Bravo

Adelbern hates Krytans. He was at the Guild Wars when Kryta and Ascalon hated each other guts. In GW1, Adelbern tried to slay the Krytan ambassador himself after the searing, Rurik was able to stop him.

@wolffanghakai It's an instanced dungeon where you experience the storyline first, however when you finish that mode of the dungeon it would unlock new ( and more difficult) experiences for everytime after you enter the place after. They even included dynamic events to happen inside of dungeons just as they would outside.

So to recap: Dungeons have a Story mode and Explorable mode, both of which offer their own experiences and varying difficulties. However dungeons are not end-game only.

@LeonZapphire a good thing to add is when you're in Explorable mode, you will encounter Dynamic events as well, just to make the dungeon run more unique (and maybe get rid of the Speed clears) each time you go in. what the events is about idk.. maybe as little to get rid of some bandits among the way, or protect a devourer (remember you're in Ascalon when you enter the Catatombs) while it carries some weapons to help you with the end-boss. (still, i don't know, may be totaly diff)
