as a film enthusiast and amateur filmmaker, i am offended by those who call this a "gem" or "art". yes, it is beautifully filmed with nice sequencing, character, shots, and mise en scene, however all of that means nothing without a solid, compelling plot, which the absolutely does not have. im sorry if that is offensive, but this is not a "gem".

@lunarparcel Is it boring? No. Is it a waste of time? No. In terms of atmosphere, costume, lighting (pretty much all the visual aspects of the film) it's great.

However, it *is* pretty stupid from the perspective of story and ballistics.

@pyromaniakgirl The title is "The Last Pistolero" which I guess makes him the gun-slinger, and as the last one I guess he wished to end his life as his fellow comrades had. So he took the perfect shot, being the last and probably best gun-slinger.

I found it quite moving actually.
