That male judge that you were able to see watching her, i have compeated with him judging before... She doesn't seem to be to fair. i do think this piece may have been a lit to mature for maddie.
@meyerkar000 that wasnt a mistake. dont forget that they hugely edit the music in this to make it flow, and they always cut out parts of the dance. so it's not maddie's mistake, it's whoever edited the music.

Maddie and Chloe are both talented. But chloe has a lot of more "work" to do on technical stuff than maddie does. They are both talented but chloe has to work of her arms, arches, and timing. Where maddie doesnt. Any professional will tell you they are both talent but maddiehas "IT" where with chloe she doesnt pick up as fast as maddie does. And the judges can see that. But they are both talented. No doubt about that.
@TayTayOli I don't think the difference is the technique. I think the difference is maddie's passion and love for the stage and spotlight and dance, her confidence jumps out at you. Where as chloe second guesses herself and doesn't sparkle everytime she's onstage. She sparkles sometimes. That's that it factor that maddie has naturally that chloe just doesn't.

@MsKayNerd Keep in mind that she is EIGHT. Her attitude is clearly made by her mother- her mother is the one making Maddie like she is. You cannot hate a child that young, because she is acting how she is treated- spoiled. I think Maddie is a lovely dancer, but as she grows older, hopefully she'll realize her attitude won't make her any friends, and she'll work on it. She's just so young right now.
