@ikawpipa I generally like Dawkins but I did not find rational. I also find Craig's literally obsession with Dawkins is interesting.

There is no doubt that WLC is a good debater. But most arguments for God's existence dated back to Aristo (Prime mover etc etc). And WLC is using same arguments with same sentences for 20 years, but somehow most of his opponents acted on debates like they hear those arguments for the first time.

If Dawkins did not study his lesson , it would be an easy match for Craig. But if Dawkins studies his lesson, he will run over Craig. But Dawkins had to study some physics for fine tuning argument, mathematics for cosmological argument, some history for Jesus case.

Victor Stenger did his homework and Craig definetly failed. Or Shelly Kagan in morality issues.

Can you really blame God for ordering people who worship false gods to be put to death? At first that may sound very harsh and unjust but think about it. God created the entire universe. To start off with, creation was perfect and he gave mankind perfect free will and how do they repay him? The humans break his laws in spite of God warning them not to and creation becomes far from perfect and they worship other gods who do not even exist! You can't really blame God for being angry at them.

Humans are so evil and so disobedient to God and therefore deserve to be eternally separated from God. And yet, God loved us so much that he sent his only begotten son Jesus to die for us so that if we repent our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we can spend eternity in Heaven with God. God cannot just forgive our sins if we say sorry because we still deserve to be punished. The only way we can escape punishment is if someone perfect dies in our place and Jesus has done that.

Well, the only prophecies that came true out of the bible are ones that believers made come true. They're all either extremely vague so that anything could qualify as fulfilling it, or self-fulfilling.

As for the scientific facts, if you could expand on that and give examples, I would appreciate it. The closest I've ever seen in the bible is pi = 3, and bats are birds... Not exactly dependable, you know?

actually, for the bible to be the inspired word of god, it needs to be COMPLETELY correct (he is, afterall, all-powerful and omniscient). if there are 10 prophesies and ONE is false, the whole book is rubbish. That is the standard set by a book that claims to be devinely inspired.

I don't want 'a few' facts that are congruent with modern science, but ALL facts should be congruent with modern science, or once again, it is rubbish. High standards for outrageous claims.

assume god is infinitely loving, powerful, knowing, and just. if he made something and it wasn't working as he intended (e.g. sinful people), he has an infinite number of ways to fix the problem. therefore it is unecesary for god to kill us, and it is illogical if he loves us. and why would a perfect being have such petty emotional reactions to our transgressions? by 5 years old, mere humans learn that hitting people doesn't solve problems, why doesn't god get it?
