The phrase is "paved with good intentions",my friend.And yes,Sam`s situation definitely applies although the degree is questionable considering the last two seasons have implied Sam isn`t nearly as innocent as We initially thought though It could be argued Azazel`s blood,his ressurection and his possession by "Meg" screwing his mind up partly influenced his actions.
