  • @kaiotie1 Actuallllly.... Virgin was originally a small music delivery store that Richard Branson initially opened/ invested with £17

  • lol makes you laugh really... Virgin started as a airline company and now they have moved to space flight! =P how much money do they have?

  • They should of made a small hall way which would let people from other planes walk to the other planes and check on the pilots or passengers..but non the less this is a great achievement.

  • If i worked for virgin...

I'd so take that thing out for a joy ride.

  • TAW-50 doesn't exist. The only "evidence" (if you can even call it that) of it's existence is a non-peer reviewed web page by Richard Boylan. If it sounds too good to be true, that's because it is. Boylan basically states that the government has learned all of our technology from alien visitors and the TAW-50 is the culmination of all extraterrestrial tech. He also states far too many specifics for having absolutely no evidence to back up his claims.

  • @divinemaster1 I doubt anything like that exists YET.

  • @divinemaster1 I checked it out but no mach 50 plane... please send a link to it, thanks!

  • @divinemaster1 Do you have a link?

  • @divinemaster1 what spacefraft? where is it? got a pic? vid? c'mon

  • thass a virgin named virgin

  • @divinemaster1 those ships are expensive like shit.... this one is just 200k, its like to buy a sofa from IKEA=)

  • sexy spacecraft. Man I cant wait 30 years from now I'll be saying to my kid " Hey son would you like to go to space tommorow" You couldt say that 30 years ago. But now it will a realality FUCK YEH

  • lol just a fancy airplane

  • @divinemaster1

Isn't that craft a developed version of the X-43B Hyper-X.

And in that case isn't it still on the drawing board.

  • nice way 2 waist $200,000

  • @videotoston

    To spend* not waste

  • @divinemaster1 do you know how much this thing weighs(ss2)

  • Awesome spaceship, but I don't think you did enough panning or zooming... ;)

  • I hope Branson goes up into space...can't get back and starves up there. Greedy bearded twat.

  • is it the creator of virgin mobile?

  • wow! check out SpaceShipTwo's smooth surface and those pitot tubes! Very sophisticated spacecraft

  • rivits in the skins whats that all about?

  • Question: I saw the other video where they simulate the flight. How it is suppossed to go up? I don't see wings flaps. Also I don't see a heat shield. I think is a rip off.

  • @angelmusical70

you're an idiot. how about doing some research on your own first. go to virgin galactc's site

  • @angelmusical70

It does not need a 'heat shield' as this space craft is sub orbital and travels much slower on re-entry then the space shuttle. The wings fold up or down as needed.

  • @angelmusical70 Dont worry...the clever people of the world know whats going on, just relax, don't stress...its all going to be alright.

  • THIS IS SWEET!

  • they need to make the flights cheaper im not very good at kmaths but atm its like 200thousand dollars thats like 140 thousand pounds or somthin and you only spend like 5mins without gravity, it should be tops 5thousand pounds

  • thanks, finally a dream for "everybody" will become true!!!!

  • It's an amazing looking ship. Excellent to see the private industry taking a real step forward. Google Spaceship, I'm waiting to hear about you.

  • What I don't get is why they bothered to paint a fake "heat shield" onto the nose and belly? It doesn't have one (never goes faster than Mach 3, compared to Space Shuttles that go Mach 25).

I suppose people expect it. I work in aviation maintenance, and I joke with people who ask me which plane I am working on in the hangar. I say, "The white one with the stripe."

Thank God they didn't go with that scheme.

  • By 2017 you will be able to fly to Japan in an hour, get some oriental nookie, and be back home before lunch! Not too shabby

  • 200k!..u can get the same feeling with a bag of weed & all in the comfort of your living room chair for $20 haha!

  • @parker808 haha nice :D

  • Totally NOT impressed!!!!! Spaceship I and II get into space barely 50 miles up but do not come close to orbit. They only get 1/4th the way there. If you cannot get to orbit there is no point of having a few seconds of weightlessness. I just assume take a dive in an airplane so simulate weightlessness. Falcon 9 is impressive!.

  • hey bud, you know you have to START somewhere right? Damn, we the first cars rolled out I bet you'd be like, fuck that shit it only goes 2 mph faster than my horse, fuck cars

  • @ti994apc

I would like you to say "NOT impressed!!!" while you're being smashed in your seat and blasted to a "mere" 50 miles..

    i'd pay that 200k within a heartbeat, IF i had it ;)

  • So what if it will just clock the maximum altitude the X-15 reached by a notch or two? The view will definitely be impressive to me.

  • Burt's designs look so elegant. I wish more airframes looked this good.

  • he he dziewica!

  • hmm.. Typical of us humans! LOL! we all laugh and criticize at 1st and eat our own words at the end. This is huge step forward not only in space travel but travel industry itself! I only wish I could experience this trip in my life time! Hat's off Mr. Branson and consider this as money well spent!! a risk well calculated!! I'm too in to business and had taken so many risks and lost so much, but it was all worth it as I did it it all for others and not only me! Cheers to space tourism!!!

  • cycloneguy1: You can't get from one side to the other. Whichever side you get in on while on the ground, that's where you stay the entire flight.

nma1071: They have tested a three-seat version, which won them $10 million, search for "SpaceShipOne". This is just a quick "up and down" trip to the very edge of space, it does leave the atmosphere, but does not go fast enough to achieve orbit, so gravity pulls it back down.

Huckaby: It's private money. There are more massive wastes out there...

  • Can't decide if this is a massive waste of precious resources - or a step towards our space future. Seems to be a bit of both but this thing does not leave orbit... or even accomplish an orbit around the planet.

  • we must start somewhere...

  • did they already test this ship? i doubt it can fly out of the earth's atmosphere. even the NASA's rocket use a large amount of fuel and have a big mass.

  • @nma1071 Being smaller than NASA's is part of the point. This is privately owned, out to make a profit by doing it more efficiently than a big government agency. Cost of a ticket is 1% that of riding on Russia's Soyuz (Nasa won't sell you a ride for any price...but its free if you are a congressman). People in the future will envy us for living in these times.

  • the whole ship doesn't...the middle ship is the actual spaceship2 it detaches at high altitude and shoots its rockets that takes it up to near space....

  • how the mother ship flyes? looks strange

  • Recommending search words 'KP BAG'!

    If you're BRUCE LEE's fan....

    Thanks for yours........

  • what if you want to get from one side of the thing to the other? That would be difficult.....

  • this looks amazing..that mother ship must be tricky to fly

  • Comment removed

  • Silly...be that as it may, he is the only privatier to acomplish this"?"

One thing is for sure..it is very very expensive to be able to act this silly.

He is a very inteligent individual.

  • so does it detache the centre ship at a certain altitude or somthing

  • detach at 50 000 feet. And then a rocket motor takes the space shuttle up 110 kilometers. Then it falls back down again and lands on a runway at spaceport america

  • Excuse my undeducated comment.. but it looks like a wiener-dog. But then again so do the other space shuttles, and the MD-80 series.

  • Comment removed

  • damn, $200k a ticket with a minimum $20k deposit =[]

  • yea and theyve already sold over 200 thousand tickets....thats 40 billion in sales

  • up to over 300 now according to the most recent article in Popular Science.

  • @edgar5001 the ticket is 200k, they sold over 300.

  • wow even more impressive....unfortunately i dont have $200,000 laying around for my ticket so im going to have to wait lol

  • Awesome spaceship

  • Thats a nightmare waiting to happen lol

  • i think its 3.4 million for 3 nights at the space hotel in 2012

  • you can watch the world end as you eat dinner :)

  • there will not be a space hotel in 2012

  • I wish i was rich.

  • + virgin makes porn !!!!!! awesome

  • 250,000 $ gets you a ride !!!!

  • saw this like 5+ issues back in popular science magazine

it costs like 200k to get a trip on it

  • The two side fuselages, engines and connecting overhead wing are all 'White Knight', which is the initial lifting vehicle for the spacecraft, which will seperate some time after launch.

The actually spacecraft is the middle fuselage.

  • wean is she going up ?

  • theyre in testing right now...they are estimating to start the actual tour flights in less than 2 years

  • Ya think thanks homer lol

  • hmm... bigger than i thought it would be

  • nice plane!.. bad camera work! :)

  • whats wrong with the camera work?

  • I am so excited! Congratulations! This is the greatest achievement since the Wright Brothers. History is being made and the future of human space exploration for all will become a reality very soon and not just for the super rich. God bless you all. I am so excited to be living in these times and to witness this great achievement for human kind.

  • awesome!! I cant wait to see more from this!!!

  • Fantastic! Happy landings to the good ship Virgin Galactic Spaceship 2!

  • Richi ist the best ;)

  • Great video. The entire 'Virgin Galactic' project is just amazing. Commercial space travel on a mass scale (well, mass to the people that can afford six-figure seat prices anyway LOL). Having said that, the doors that this could open up for further commercial travel into space in the future are exciting to think about...

  • Once these guys get up and running with the flights, it's only a matter of time before all the other airlines will want to jump on the bandwagon.

  • One question: How do you fly that White Knight 2?

  • 5/5 i saw this on the papers :D

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • its already been done with that very set up. And the video is even on youtube if you can believe that..

  • GTFO, retard. You have proven that you fail in life.

  • cant wait till they fly comercially

  • sweet!

  • very
