  • Iam eating one as of now! It's a mouthful of awesomeness. Though in the vid it cautions to not consume too much. What are the downsides????

  • @KaabNpaujVaaj Glad you like it. It is like a natural relaxer for the brain so it i super awesome indeed. There are many other benefits. Check out earthsmateDOTcom/content/beneficial-fruit-durian-natural-weight-loss-food for details The downside is that in large consumption I think they would produce too much heat. Some people may experience discomfort such as fever, but can be prevented with drinking salt water from the shell.

  • just had my first durian, tasted like sweet garlic onion. Not bad by any means. didn't smell bad at all I think.

not good not bad just different.

  • @jgerke55 .... yes, some people find the strong odour too strong though especially if you are coming from the West :D. I have more information on the benefits of durian on my website :D earthsmateDOTcom

  • i just opened a durian and its dry. it has grey veins on it and though it doesn't smell, i think it may be too ripe.

  • @TheDeathsuponus Perhaps .. was it fresh or frozen ? Great to have a ripe durian, depending on where you live. You could try to grow it. I am trying with frozen ones but I think they are too young/cold.

  • @MrEdiblePencil Should try it sometimes, get from the local asian shop :D . it is very tasty
