Okay I know a lot of you don't want to hear this. Yes this is a good movie but you can't complare it to the book. It's not fair or right to do. There are secnes that everyone will love that wont be in the movie and people will throw fits over that. I personally love the book so much more. Gaberal isn't a bad guy Aidern is. If you read the book you will see why. Aidern never really cared about Vivian, and she's not selfish. She's confused. You see that in the book. It's all better explained there

I feel like they've completely changed the feel of the book. Like, they've turned Gabriel into a bad-guy, and since when were the Five such arseholes?! I mean, I know they were KINDA nasty in the book, but they didn't go around shooting folk and that. For me, hardly any of this relates to the book....IF any of it relates to it. I'm not saying it isn't a good movie, 'cause I think it IS a good movie, but it hardly relates to the book. It seems as if they've twisted the plot entirely

Honestly if they had changed the title and the names around, they would have a completely independent movie that could have stood by itself and then they probably wouldn't have had all the hate messages from everyone. The book was kick ass and is still one of my favorites, and this is a really good movie. I don't think they should be compared as one though, they're too different. It's all good though.
